Chapter 83
Hi, good day readers! I hope you're all doing great. I apologize for the mix-ups in the last chapter. I was unable to edit it, so I would be dropping this here today Chapter 63. Diana's POV. Susan was really a good cook, no doubt. We were all gathered at the little dining table that was in the dining area. I watched as Luke took a bite of the food that I had prepared. I didn't know if it was up to their taste, honestly. I helped Susan in preparing some of the dishes. I was about to go to the cliff yesterday, but I got stopped by Luke. I changed my mind that moment, and immediately he left the way for me to go to the cliff. He knew that I didn't know anything about this place, and what if my killers were still planning to kill me? "How does it taste?" I looked at Luke just to get a response from him. If I really want to leave this place, I would have to be friendly with them and gain their trust. That is going to take a lot of time, but what matters is my leaving this place. "It tastes normal." He stated it bluntly as he kept on eating the food. "Do you live here?" I questioned him, wanting to start a conversation with him. "No! Why are you asking?" He asked while I took a bite of my goof before I replied to him. "I just want to know if you are going to be here every day." I shrugged my arms. Why did he look so mad at me for asking him questions? "So you can escape?" He stated this, making me chuckle slightly. "If I had wanted to leave, I would have done that yesterday." I rolled my eyes while I kept on digging into the food. "You also know that if you refuse to let me go, that is known as kidnapping." I smiled softly, and he banged his cutlery on the dining table. Her bad anger issues needed to be taken care of. "I lose my appetite." He stood up from the dining chair, moving it backwards with his legs, and then walked out of us, leaving his food on the table. "He gets angry quickly." His mother interrupted my thoughts as I watched him walk away. "I could see that already. I wondered how You get to cope with him." I clicked my tongue, and then I stood up from the chair that I was sitting on. I followed him out of the building. I didn't see him in sight. Where could he have gotten a gown that quick? I looked forward and then saw him walking away. This would be an opportunity for me to get to know more about this place. I ran so fast that I kept on with him at my front. "Where do you think you are going? Why are you following me?" He fired immediately when he saw me by his side. I was still feeling suffocated while I tried to catch my breath from the little run that I did. "You didn't have to be that cold." I rolled my eyes at him, and he continued walking while I followed him slowly. I wondered what was so important to him, and the only way that he could get it was to take revenge on me. "The reason why I asked you about leaving this place was because anything could happen to your mother and me, and there is no one that would be able to protect us." I lied. "You don't expect me to believe that bullshit." "Wait! Who broke you to this extent? Why are we like this? The person must have done a lot of damage." He chuckled slightly. "No one made me like this. You shouldn't trust human beings that easily; they could turn their back on you at the last second." He mentioned. "Yeah exactly. You shouldn't get to trust me since you don't know what I could do to you at the last minute." He smiled genuinely. That was the first time that I would see.He has been smiling that way ever since he came back home yesterday. "I bet that you don't trust me either." He stated. "You don't trust me; why do you expect me to do the same to you? You kept me in your house, not even helping me to find who I am. Do you really expect me to trust you?" "Who told you that I was not going to find out who you really are?" He stopped walking while he looked back into my eyes. "Why can't you do it now? What is stopping you from doing that?" I stopped walking while I also faced him. "I am waiting for the right time for me to be able to do that. You killer might still be out there." He brought up an excuse, saying that just as usual, they would keep on using that excuse again and again. Was that the same reason he wanted me to lose all my memory? I didn't bring up the matter. "At this rate, one might think that you know my real identity. What if I tried to commit suicide while I was still alive? You can't base everything on those shows trying to murder me." I had to counter his point. "Let's change the topic." He turned back and kept on walking. I followed him at his back and watched how peaceful the countryside was. Would the city be quiet just like this? I wish I could remember my memory. Even if I went to the city and didn't get to remember my memory, how would I be able to find my way back home? "I love morning walks." I took in a deep breath as the cool breeze hit me from every side. "Who doesn't?" Luke inquired. "I'm pretty sure if the sun is shining and hot very early in the morning, I am definitely not going to like it." I answered him. Now, we are having a normal conversation. "The doctor will come and check up on you in the next few days." He stated. "Do you think he would be able to help me regain my memories?" I questioned him with a soft smile on my face. I don't think the doctor would be able to check up on me today since I would be following Luke in his trunk back to the city this evening. "He would just check up on you. That would be left for the doctor to decide." He mentioned making me sigh. If they knew the doctor was going to help me regain my memories, they would never bring him to me after spiking my drink with memory-eraser medicine. ******* It was in the evening already, and I already planned how I was going to escape. I just blasted ginger into the truck before he got to figure it out. "When is your son going to leave?" I questioned Susan as I helped her in the kitchen. I was helping her cut the vegetables. "He will be leaving in the next few minutes. He will not be able to eat dinner since he has a lot of things to attend to in the city." She mentioned it to me, making me nod my head in approval. After a few minutes of waiting, I was done with cutting the vegetables, and I told her that I was really fast with it. This would be a chance for me to see what the city looked like. I might perhaps find my real identity.Epilogue.*FIVE YEARS LATER*Diana settled into the garden bench, watching Ryan chase their rambunctious six-year-olds around the lawn. She couldn't help but smile at his playful antics."Mommy, come play with us!" Alicia begged."Mommy's pregnant, sweetie," Ryan reminded her. "Let's find a game that doesn't require running."Sophia, their eldest, suggested, "How about we play hide-and-seek? Mommy can count!""Mommy is really tired." Diana replied to her daughter. She watched as Ryan kept on playing with her kids. Alicia who was the child of Richardson was now a daughter to her.Kian and Elena went on a vacation for the past two years and they were yet to come back.Diana's thoughts returned to the present as Ryan wrapped his arms around her. "You're glowing," he whispered."Pregnancy agrees with me," she replied, smiling.Their love story was one of perseverance. Separated by circumstance, they had held onto memories and letters. Reunited, they cherished every moment. As the sun dipp
Chapter 143 (FINALE)Elena's POV.My feet tapped on the hallway slowly. I was at the front of the operation room where Kian was bring operated on. This wasn't my intentions, and I was really scared that something bad might get to happen to him at this point.I hoped everything was going to be good at the end. I couldn't afford to lose, I don't think I would ever be myself in that hot to happen. That was why I needed him to stand up!I saw Kian's family coming from the Elevator which was on the hallway.Kian's family gathered around me, their faces etched with worry and accusation. I knew what must be going on in his father's mind right now."How could you let this happen?" Rita snapped at me. Visible anger in her eyes. If anyone had the right to scold me, it shouldn't be someone like her. She was the one who had entertained Clarke and things turned out to be really bad for us. She wasn't a saint. I felt a sting, but remained calm. "I tried to protect him. She had a knife...I couldn
Chapter 142Elena's POV.Without a doubt, I could easily tell who was responsible for all of these."I am going to deal with her myself. You just have to be calm." I heard Kian saying. I was really calm right now. I didn't want stuff like this to ruin the good moments that the both of us just had together. I was done putting up with her nonsense, and I wasn't going to take any sort of disrespect from her anymore. I was not really surprised by her actions.I could see my reputation getting tarnished right in my face. A lot of brands might not want to work with me, thinking I would be a bad influence on their modeling work.I would make sure I am not the one going down alone. She would go down alongside me, and I have to make sure about that."Do you know where she is right now?" I questioned him. "There is no need for me to find her. Just one call and she would show herself to me. That is how much to show that she is obsessed with me." Kian stated."Ohhhh!" I hit his elbow, teasing h
Chapter 141*TWO DAYS AFTER* Elena's POV.It was just two days after all of these had happened. I was in the shower together with Kian. It was in the morning, and we decided that we were going to take the shower together."What about your dad? You haven't talked with him yet?" I questioned him, and I saw the chang in his mood. I knew what he wanted to say already.I took in a huge sigh. I knew he just have gotten into some sort of fight with his father, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't even get to talk with his father or something."Let's not discuss about that for now. Let's just have fun together." His hand trailed down my chest This time looking at me straight into my eyes, but I was busy looking at his body up and down, using my eyes to survey every ab, and admiring all the muscle he had that seemed to be free of any form of fat. Of course, he was always working out. It had intoxicated me already, making my p*ssy more wet before I knew it; his strong chest was already in fron
Chapter 140Elena's POV.I think it was time for him to know the truth now. I have kept it hidden from him all these while. I knew he was really going to find it hard to believe, but we could go to the hospital and take a DNA test if he doesn't believe."The child is really yours!" I looked at him as he then looked at me back in the eyes stopping the car abruptly. I know that he must be really shocked."What did you just say? Are you kidding?""You are the real father of my child. How can you believe the story I had told you about the club?" I scoffed with a soft smile on my face."Do you think this is some matter we can joke with? There is nothing funny with this."I said with a straight face but it doesn't look like she was joking. She was really serious with whatever she was saying.I bet he must be so confused right now and I honestly wasn't going to blame him. It was normal for him to get confused. "How did it happen? Does that mean we had sex before? I...I...I... don't understan
Chapter 139Kian's POV.I saw as my father's face dropped. After hearing the news that I had told him, The least thing that he could do was to shout at me, scold me, and get me off his company. He blinked his eyes several times, and I could see the look in his face, finding it very hard to believe that he got fooled by the both of us. "Are you joking? What the hell are you saying?" He questioned again, trying to confirm if we were not saying trash or sort.He could probably want to take back his shares from me. It wouldn't be a bad thing to have another source of income."Everything you have been showing casing to me all this time is fake." He scoffed, questioning me."Yes!" I replied to him bluntly."Why are you telling me this now? Do you think telling me about this will let me change my mind, and then you can go scot-free?" My father questioned."No! That was not the reason why I told you about it." I answered him, and he then let out another huge sigh."My wife was being threaten
