Ryan's POV

I walked out of the ward, leaving her to finish up her problems. I took the elevator to where Diana was.

I encountered Kian along the way.

"Where have you been? Diana woke up already, and she hasn't been acting in her right sense!" Kian informed me immediately that he saw me.

I shoved the tablet that was in my hand at him while I entered her room. The doctor was trying to calm her down, but it wasn't working.

I stood at the door entrance, while I watched what was happening. What could I even get to do to calm her down in this kind of situation?

"My baby! They are not dead! Why can't I feel them?" Three nurses were there while they tried to pin her down.

Her eyes met mine.

"What about our child? Why can't I feel them? Where did they go?" She looked at me as her eyes were filled with tears, making me want to cry.

"I'm sorry I couldn't get to protect them." I muttered while I found myself crying again. I used my hand to clean off my tears immediately.
