Chapter 02

" I would like to see if you're not hiding a weapon between your thighs" He said calmly in the most impassible and formal way ever existing.

All of this was getting on her nerves. Jessica was furious , she would fire him with thunder if she could. "Does he have a dead wish?," She stormed soundlessly .

"Please," He added coolly .

Jessica swore that she could kill him  there and burn his remains, but she resigned herself from doing so of course. She didn't like to be ordered around , and  above all she despised being disrespected.

"Damn him and his  perfume" She screamed inwardly and mentally rolled her eyes at the impossibly arrogant and charming man he was.

Mr. Doyle kneeled at her feet and slid his hand  to the inner of her thigh, Jessica trembled  at his touch, as a wave of warmth transpierced  her body

She was getting angrier at him, for humiliating her like that. What was he thinking ? that she might want to kill him? What madman would search his own guests? but in reality she started to feel weak in the knees, His hand seemed to move in slow motion and Jessica's body was reacting to his touch. A strange feeling  submerging her

"Shit! What the hell is wrong with me?" She thought nervously, reprimanding the physical needs her body craved of this man to fulfill.

"Aren't you done yet, Mr. Doyle ?" Jessica complained all too knowingly of his compelling touch.

 "I'm done"  He replied as soon as he stood up again. Jessica straightened her dress nervously

He stepped forward causing Jessica to step back, having her back against the elevator's wall, she gulped nervously.

"One more thing,"  He said, pinning her to the wall , Jessica was feeling so uncomfortable she wanted to slap him but she couldn't .

"You'll call me Lucas" He said pushing the  emergency button  and stepping back , giving Jessica some space so she caught up on some air.

Her cheeks were flushed , and whether  it was from the confined space that was the elevator or  from the proximity of this man she was uncertain. But surely she had wished for the evening to end sooner than what she had hoped fifteen minutes ago when she first met this man.

The elevator came to halt and the doors opened to a majestic corridor. The platinum Plaza Hotel's interior design left one speechless.

"After you, Miss Rose," Lucas offered Jessica his arm again  unruffled,  she gripped it and they both  stepped  outside the  elevator.

Lucas and Jessica walked mutely  through the corridor when they reached the  last door on their right  , Jessica could see the ornate golden numbers 3203 engraved on the massive ebony door.

Lucas  then took out of his pocket a golden key card and handed it to her  and said

"Please make yourself comfortable, I'll be with you in a minute".

"Thank you" Jessica took the key card from his hand and nodded . Lucas then excused himself and walked back through the corridor. Jessica followed him with her eyes for a while before she  inserted the key card in the door's lock and pushed the door open.

She  was stunned when she saw the immense  suite  that 3203 was . The five star plus Hotel suite looked like a palace compared to the one-bedroom studio, Jessica  lived in down town. Although she liked her little nest more than anything she couldn't help herself from being amazed by the fanciness of the place.   Being an escort had its advantages sometimes , she thought.

The door closed behind her, Jessica entered carefully the immaculate space. The off white carpet deafened her stilettos' ticking.  The suite walls were of a pale beige and many of the decorations were of gold.  

There was A coffee table at the center, surrounded by armchairs of a color matching the curtains in front. The suite had a breathtaking view of the city, thanks to the  huge glass window that covered the entire front wall. At the bottom was the dim lit sleeping space. A king-size bed appeared, the bedding was of off white with the pillowcases matching a darker tone. On the mini bar on her left was a set of crystal decanters and their champagne flutes . To the right side a  small fire place that seemed freshly lit above which was hanged an oil painting of Monet.  Jessica moved past the table   but did not sit down, She walked to admire the view of the city through the glass window instead, waiting for her host to be back.

A brief moment passed before she reflected back on her life.

Jessica's been an escort for nearly a year and a half now, after her last break up  with Jimmy craw , a guy she's been in a relation  with for two years  . After he cheated on her with her step sister , Jessica's gone through a lot of trouble  in order to recover a normal life .

After the breakup , she had been left stranded. And if it wasn't for her bestie Lilly,  god only knows what might have happened to her.

She had always been the sweet girl , despite her boyfriend's interminable complaints about everything she's always found excuses for him,  Jessica considered that everyone can go through shit and their reaction to that is different. So she allowed everyone she knew to express themselves  even though some  might  have hurt her, which was Jimmy's case . She ended up heartbroken again.

Being an escort was something no one could ever imagine her doing. She was a kindergarten tutor. She was too nice to be playing roles.

" You are too naïve sweetheart" Her friend Lilly always told her repeatedly . But one night  she decided no more. She was fed up with tolerating everyone's behaviors, she was fed up with allowing everyone to hurt her. She was fed up with everyone considering her weak and incapable so they stepped over her feelings like it was nothing .   She had enough of heartbreak throughout her twenty nine years . She wanted to step up and do what  she least expected herself to do.  For once she 'd done something out of the box she's been living in her whole life.    

Being an escort allowed her to explore new horizons, a new side of herself as well. Named herself The black Rose , and detached of her chains , she could be anyone she wanted to be for one night. She did it for the change, she did it for the thrill . She never slept with a client before. Plus, the agency's policy was strict she only provided her services by being present for occasions, dinners, birthday parties and even weddings. A little flirt from time to time never hurt anyone but nothing sexual involved. Jessica  preferred to disguise before  every night so that no one can recognize her  and like that she felt at ease. And her bank account was filled as well.  Only Lilly, her best friend knew about her double life.   

A knock on the door brought her from her thoughts. Jessica went to open .

"It appeared that the owner of the building had good manners after all" she thought .

When she opened she was surprised to see a valet at the door holding a  huge package  that he quickly  set on the table  and  said

"Mr. Doyle would like you to get ready for the evening "  If you need anything I'll be at your door in a minute" Then he excused himself out.

Jessica checked the box  on which she found a written note.

<< I was told you like lavenders , so I hope you like the color of tonight's gown.

 Although I liked your black dress , we have to appear in matching outfits.

 I'll bet at your door in fifteen minutes. Get ready before I come.

She breathe deeply and  opened the box to find a princess gown of a sparkling lavender light muslin. With silver strappy  high heeled scandals and a little red box , inside it a fine heart shaped diamond necklace.

Jessica went quickly towards  the bed space and  changed into the light  dazzling gown that fit her curved body perfectly as if it was custom made. She had to take off her  red lingerie  that showed under the light dress having a heart shaped neckline and falling straps. After she's done with the dress she  put on the scandals that were her size as well and grabbed the necklace box.

There were another knock on the door , so she went opening.  She made sure her dress was straightened before.

Once the door open Lucas dark eyes laid on her,  a grin adorning his luscious lips. soon He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

"Perfect timing,"  He grabbed the necklace box  from Jessica's hand and  said

"let me help with that"  He carefully opened the box and put the necklace around her neck.  Jessica gulped at the delicate gesture  admiring the unique dazzling  collar. He secured the piece of Jewelry and stepped back.  Jessica turned on her heels to face him once again.
