The way she gaze at him after he said those words to her, made him felt a little bit off guilt, he stared into her eyes for a little while, but then he turned around with a frown.

He clenched his fist in fury, breathing heavily as if he was waiting for something, he thought asking her about it now would be meaniless, she could easily lie, or handle the situation, so he wanted to at least see for himself.

Though his eyes was shut but sleep was beyond his reach, the sound of his heartbeat pounding on his ears, he sighed every now and then until the morning sun shone bright through the curtains, not a glimpse of sleep graced his eyes.
