The day passed by quickly. Dex, Gabriel and I spent it exploring and playing. We soaked up as much of the sun and good weather as we could. Dex even packed us a picnic. We were cleaning up the damage from the attack earlier today. Sadly Mom, and Eryn had to return home. They knew that the kingdom would be scared after hearing about what happened here. It was odd being home without Gabriel. Dex comforted me and kept me entertained throughout the night…in ways only he can. I am not going to lie, it was nice to sleep in for once. The sun was angrily shining into my room. Accusing me of wasting the day. I lazily got out of bed. Dex had gotten up hours ago now.
