"Your Majesty." Astrid enters the study room. She signals Loras with her eyes that they need to talk in private for a moment. They decided on the sign before the lord came and now it came in handy.

"One moment, my lord." The king takes Astrid's hand and they step in the Master of the Privy Chambers’ room, connected to a small corridor.

"I just found Lysa. She is in Lord Connrad's rooms."

"Are you sure?" Loras asks, a dark expression taking over his face.

"The wife is terrified. I think they plan a coup. He will help put Omar on the throne in exchange for becoming his stepfather and probably the regent. Lysa will get rid of Erik and me and have Omar be the only one to have rights for the throne."

"Astrid, this is a huge accusation!" Loras growls in between his clenched teeth.

"The wife heard everything. I promised her protection. Loras, they were talking about killing her tonight so the marriage could be hurried. That means they will move soon."
