CHARLIE'S POV:-
I was in my room, setting all my clothes in my closet. I was actually passing the time because I was really bad at waiting for someone. I was actually waiting for my Beta. I knew as he was never too far away from me, I just went up to the roof and released a loud howl. A way to call our pack. This is how all the wolves communicated with each other. To be specific, that was how an Alpha communicated with his Beta. And as I knew it could take him some time to be at the mansion, I tried to keep myself busy.
I could not take Berry out of my mind. The moment she grabbed my hand, I knew that she was my mate. My wolf was equally excited for her, to be around her. But I did not want to scare her away or do anything stupid again. So I decided to keep my distance. It was for the best though. Knowing that she was my mate and my wolf jumping in excitement, I could not help my boner t
CHARLIE'S POV:-After our meeting with my Beta, Phantom. I came back to my room. My jaw hit the floor as I saw my room neatly set and my clothes were nowhere to be found. Just as I was scratching my head if I was seeing things or not, Berry stepped out of the room and flashed me her sweet smile. I could not help but chuckle at her sweet innocent being. She was really something else. I went towards her and rubbed the back of my neck nervously. "You should not have done that for me. I did not want you to be worried about me. I swear by tomorrow, this room will be a hell mess again and you will be stomping your feet. I really never clean my room." I said in an embarrassing tone. She giggled at first when she heard me. But then her chuckles turned into laughter fits. I could not help but join her and laugh at myself like a stupid wolf."That's a good thing to finally see you both smiling to
LANDON'S POV:-I stepped into the building of my office. I went straight to the top floor and looked around. I almost checked every single floor. But as I had gotten the words, Raymond was nowhere to be found. I frowned as I was told that he would be attending the meetings for the day. It was not really a great sign that after Balthazar's surprised visit, he suddenly disappeared. It was no good sign. Even after he knew that somehow, he was in the list of suspects I had in my mind. My brother was number 1. But he was on the list as well. But I did not get one thing. If he was part of everything, why would he add up something to make me sure that Balthazar was somehow involved in this matter. Would he not be trying to protect Balthazar if they were working together. Or maybe Raymond had the plans of his own. Who knew what was going on behind my back. I only knew that something was
BERRY'S POV:-"Tell me something about yourself? Who are you? Where did you come from? How did you meet Landon?" Charlie asked me in an excited tone. Only if he could know that my life was not really that exciting at all. In fact, I hated my life. I forced a small smile on my face and narrowed my eyes. I started playing with my fingers so he would not see me crying like a weak person. I did not want to show him my weakness."My past is not as exciting as you think it would be. It is full of pain and suffering." I replied to him in a low tone. He hesitantly wrapped his arm around my shoulders. I looked up at his face. He had a worried look in his eyes. He pecked my forehead and I smiled. Landon was right about him. Even though I had not told him anything about myself yet. But he was trying his way to make me feel better. He was really a baby from inside. Someone who cared for everyone
CHARLIE'S POV:-After that day, Berry became comfortable around me as well. The physical contact between us, it did not affect her anymore. She would sometimes shiver or sometimes her cheeks would turn pink. But it was not like the way it was the first time I had touched her. She was more open to both of us. Well, especially with me. She was living with Landon for a year. Me on the other hand, she knew me for a week or two maybe. But things were getting better. She was shy, sometimes she was very shy. But she was opening up in front of us both.I stepped into the kitchen and found Berry busy with preparing a cup of coffee for herself. I licked my lips as my eyes fell on her bear back. She did not know that her zipper was not locked. Her zipper went down and I could see her back. Her milky skin was making me lose my control. My wolf was howling inside me. I took a deep breat
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-The Snake brothers went back home with a long face. They were definitely afraid of the consequences of the aftermath. Their wives would not understand the situation they were all in. They were in the cart and William was driving the cart. They always drive on their own if Mr Woods asked for their presence. Not that they had a luxurious one like a tycoon had. No one actually knew who was still loyal to the Frenchman family. Of course, they needed a plan to sort it all out. But how, that was the most difficult question. They knew each of their wives. And they knew how much of an impossible thing it would be to ask their wives to do something like Mr Woods had suggested. Not that they had any kind of other options to get through this mess.Suddenly, William pulled the rein of the horses and all the brothers came out of the oceans of their though
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-William stopped the cart in front of the villa of the Frenchman. He looked at his brothers and nodded at them. The brothers nodded back and made sad and tired faces to show their wives. The plan was pretty smart and definitely convincing. However, William was not so sure about his own wife. He knew she was the smartest ass in the whole family. And he knew if even one of them said anything that was not part of the plan, she would roast his ass and would feed it to his family. But he had to try eventually. They did not have much time and they were out of other options. He sighed as he noticed two of the cart drivers who ran towards them. They hopped out of the cart and the drivers took away the cart as well as the horses. The three Snake brothers took deep breaths and Max opened the door. They stepped into the villa one after another. With their tired faces, they we
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Berry opened her eyes again as she felt like someone was crying again. She sat up on the bed and sighed. She could only think of the ways to make him feel better. But she knew there was no way. His nightmares were as if they were part of him. It was almost every single night she would hear him cry like a baby. It made her heart squeeze to see him like that. As if a baby was trapped inside him. And every single night, that baby used to cry to get out. Or this was at least what she thought. She crawled out of her bed and grabbed the night gown that was neatly set on the chair in her room. She wore the night gown and grabbed a candle from her bedside table. She lit up the candle and stepped out of her bedroom. She shook her head as he heard loud snoring from Charlie's room. He was really a baby. She could hear him snoring from outside of his room. Berry's room was in
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Seeing the pink color of the roses on Berry's cheeks, Landon chuckled and Charlie joined him. None of the men did anything. Charlie was busy thinking if he would not do anything that would make her run away again. While Landon was looking back and forth, from Berry to Charlie. He wanted to wait and see what those babies were about to do on their own. Of course they were like babies in front of Landon. Landon was three centuries older than both Charlie and Berry. But Charlie and Berry looked the same age. Only Landon knew that they had almost two months between their days of birth.Landon sighed as he saw none of them made a single move. He knew that they both were sexually attracted to each other. But there was a hesitation between them. Of course, Berry made Charlie very nervous. And Berry did not know herself that she wanted Charlie. Another mischievo
