40; Forgiveness

Rex’s POV

I could see myself pleading like never before. For the first time in my life, I am seeking forgiveness by force. It was quite interesting. She watched me while I explained how many regrets I had, right before her eyes, I went on my knees to show how much I had realized my wrong and was willing to take a turn but she stood in silence and wouldn't want to take a look at me. "This seems to be a grief prepared for me for a lifetime," I said as I wondered why she would return without wanting to see or talk to me after all I have been through.

"Freya, I promise not to repeat this mistake again. I have been through a lot. Your absence has taken a lot from me" I said without wanting to hold back in fear of not being considered. It was as though I had seen some sort of ghost who had refused to say a word to me. "Have she come to take revenge over all I cost her?" I said while wondering if she was actually a ghost who had come to hunt me down as it was impossible for me to get close
