Chapter 12 A Chance for Revenge

A dazzling array of new luxury brands made Kristen very excited. She turned to look at Ethan behind her and asked, “Are these all for me?”

Other than handsome men, Kristen’s favorite was money. She also liked luxury goods like these.

“Obviously.” Ethan looked at her.

Facing the woman’s excited expression, he did not think that Kristen was a gold-digger at all. He said seriously, “Kristen, no one can be more generous than me.”

Why was this man still thinking about this? Kristen smiled.

Ethan sat in front of the dressing table and picked up the box on the table.

He took out the bracelet and put it on Kristen’s wrist. “This, wear it.”

Kristen felt a little guilty. This was the bracelet she had sold in the mall.

It was bought back by Ethan...

She put on a smile, “Yes, you’re right, Mr. Wharton, you’re so generous. You’re the best to me. I’ve been acting silly for trouble for the past few days!”

He looked at the smile on the woman’s face.

Ethan pulled her to his leg and hugged her, “How are you going to make it up to me after so many days?”

Kristen immediately realized what the man was thinking, “Ethan, I have to get up early tomorrow to the set!”

“I’ll take you there.”

The man carried her into the bathroom.

Kristen hurriedly wrapped her arms around his neck and looked speechless. Whether he sent her or not was the point. They had sex all night. From the bathroom to the big bed, it took Ethan a long time to let go of Kristen.

Under the hazy moonlight, Kristen quietly lay in the man’s arms and fell asleep.

Ethan looked down at her face, and his slender fingers stroked her chin while his gaze carried a trace of deepness and gloominess.

“Kristen, you’re mine!

“Without my permission, you cannot leave me!” Ethan thought to himself.

The next day.

When Kristen woke up, she was exhausted.

She glared at the man who woke her up, “It’s all your fault. I didn’t sleep well!”

A smile flickered across Ethan’s eyes.

After washing up and having breakfast, they drove to the set.

Inside the car, the man said in an attractive voice, “The Davis family, do you need my help?”

How dare they send her woman to the police station? Did they want to die?

Kristen was stunned. She suddenly felt that Ethan had become more human-like.

She shook her head, “No need. I will avenge myself.”

Ethan didn’t say anything else. When they arrived near the shooting scene, the car stopped.

“I’ve found you a new assistant. She’s waiting for you at the door. Call me if you need anything.”

“Got it,” Kristen responded flatly and got out of the car without any reluctance.

She was still bitter about being forced to stay up until two o’clock this morning.

Ethan was not a human!

When she reached the door, she met up with the new assistant Ethan had arranged for her.

“Hello, Kristen. My name is Anna Garcia.”

Looking at Kristen’s face, Anna was stunned for two seconds, thinking that she was too beautiful.

The little girl looked cute and well-behaved. Kristen nodded with satisfaction, “Although your salary is paid by Ethan, you work for me. From now on you can only listen to me, not Ethan!”
