Arizona shut the door with a loud bang, resulting into it bouncing back and closing with another bang. He felt so mad. So mad at himself. He's the one that brought this upon her so he has no right to feel bad about it , yet as she'd hugged him tight and cried about her family current situation, he couldn't help but feel bad for her. Right there, he wanted to tell her. To tell her it's all his doing. She'll get mad alright, but at least she'll let her father know where the problem is coming from and he'll do all he can to fix it. Then after that, they can make up. They'll definitely make up. He knows it's better to tell he earlier because if she finds out from someone else, it won't be the same story. She wouldn't even know the reason behind all of these. He'll tell her. Could be tomorrow.... He'll make sure to. Arizona took off his glasses and sat on the study chair. He before fished out a red hard covered book and sighed before opening it.
" So, should we stay at my place? "Arizona asked as he and Areum strolled home. Areum blinked, turning to look up at him." Should we? " " I want you to. There's something I need you to know about. "Arizona said, his hold on her hand tightening a bit. " Alright then. Let's go! "Areum grinned and Arizona smiled at that. . . Areum walked out of the bathroom, a look of guilt on her stunning face," Ari? " She whisper-called. He heard and looked up, his heart skipping as soon as she did. He's never seen her look this... provocative. She wore one of his tank tops which stopped on her thighs, her long blonde hair dripping wet and her thick lashes battling shyly. Seeing he didn't answer, Areum pouted, "I'm sorry. I poured out your shampoo. It was a mistake." "It's okay." Arizona said as he sat up, like it is the last thing to worry about, because it is. "Really?! Thanks! It looked so expensive I thought you'd get mad." Areum giggled, jumping on the
"She didn't let me. I was so mad!" Areum rolled her eyes, poking the meatball on her pasta. Arizona sighed, "It's okay, baby. At least you didn't cause any trouble, did you?" He knows once a teacher annoys her, she'll do something terrible to him or her. He remembered the time of Mr David. He was in the class that morning. Areum shook her head, "Nah. I'm done with that." Arizona smiled, "Good girl." He praised, patting her head. Luella, who was eating with them almost rolled her eyes. She envied Arizona though. How could he be doing such to her father yet acting like she's all that matters. Wow! Areum looked up and her eyes met Luella's, who smiled immediately, "Enjoying your meal?" Areum asked politely. Luella nodded affirmatively, "Quite. This restaurant is cool. Thanks for having me,despite all I've done. I feel really bad now..." Areum flashed her a gentle smile, "It's okay, Ella. Everyone gets a bit out of it sometimes
Arizona looked at his watched and his face fell at the time. Few minutes to seven. He sighed. She's always late but never this late. It's been hours. The rush of the waterfall calmed him as he leaned his back against the tree. He's finally summoned the courage to tell her about everything that's why he's called her to come to his PLACE OF PEACE. She said something about being with a friend so he decided to wait for her. It's been too long though.' I'm worried about her. Is she okay? She's not even picking her calls. I should go to her place. ' He concluded and got to his feet. He dialed her number but got directed to voicemail. He left her a message and prepared to go to her house. . . . The house was silent as Arizona stepped inside, the silence broken only by the sound of his footsteps on the floor. As he walked further into the house, the air felt heavy, and a sense of foreboding settled over him. The maid wa
Arizona stands there, frozen in place, his own emotions swirling inside him. He doesn't want to leave, but he knows he has to respect her wishes. Slowly, he steps back, his eyes never leaving hers. He can see the hurt and anger in her eyes, and it breaks his heart. He steps through the door, closing it behind him. Arizona leans against the door immediately, sliding to the floor, his head in his hands. He can hear Areum crying on the other side, and it feels like his heart is being torn in two. He wants to help her, to make things right, but he knows she needs space. And so he sat there, listening to the sound of her grief, feeling powerless to do anything to make it better. His head throbbed with a headache, the pain only adding to his distress. He felt sadness and regret. But he needed to give Areum space. She's too angry and sad to listen to him now. Maybe he should let her calm down... . . . There Areum sat, against the door
"Good evening, Young master Black." The beefy bodyguards bowed as Arizona stormed into his father's office. He didn't acknowledge them which was unusual. They stared at each other and shrugged. Entering the office, Arizona met his father and brother, discussing. George smiled immediately he saw Arizona, "Son! I was just about to call you. Cornard Bills is proposing a contract and I'd like you to handle it while Kanye works on Gold Blue's project. What do you think?" Arizona clenched his fist, "I'm not interested." Kanye raised a brow, "What? It's a big contract, stupid." He teased a bit but that didn't change Arizona's hard countenance. Arizona scoffed, facing his father, "Are you satisfied now?" George Black narrowed his gaze, wondering what his son was so mad about. He's never been this angry at him. "What do you mean? " Kanye asked, now confused. "Because you couldn't let go of the past, I've lost literally everything! What I thought
Graduation Day. The sun poured through the tall windows of the graduation hall, casting long shadows across the rows of empty chairs. The air was filled with a buzzing anticipation as the graduates and their families filed in, finding their seats and chatting excitedly. The stage was bathed in a warm, golden light, ready to welcome the next generation of graduates. As the ceremony commenced, the air grew hushed with anticipation. The performances began , each class getting reading for their own presentation. Mr Blooms and his students were getting prepared to go on stage and sing their hearts out for the guests. He looked around frantically, "Okay! Areum is here! Dallas too... Indie.... Where the heck is Kanye?!" Indie looked at Areum, who looked away immediately. Indie found that weird but she replied Mr Blooms, "I'm sorry! I'll call him now." and she excused herself. Areum also left the waiting room. She went to the restroom to co
"I need to talk to you real quick." Kanye said, walking up the Arizona who had just left the gent and was returning to the hall. With his usual plain face, he asked, "What?" "Dad needs us to..." "I'm not interested." Arizona growled at his brother. How can he talk about their father now? It's annoying. "Come on Arizona! It's important!" Kanye snapped making Arizona roll his eyes. Before he could say anything else, he heard footsteps. Looking up, to his surprise, he saw Areum... . . . Areum's eyes widened when she saw the two of them. Her throat became dry as she looked down, hating to see them right now. "Excuse me." Areum murmured with the intention passing between them and going her way but she should have known better. Someone stopped her by grabbing her arm. The touch was electrifying but she was so sure it's the anger working. "Let go, Arizona." She spoke with a low voice, trying to hide the pain. "Areum... Please, listen to me... " Areum rolled her eyes,
"I think I'll just go to the bank tomorrow, Daddy," Areum smiled at her father, brushing his now grey hair off his forehead. The urgency of his operation weighed heavily on her mind; losing him would be the worst thing imaginable. James Kyung held her hand, squeezing it fondly. Tears glistened in his eyes as he spoke, "I'm sorry, Areum."She shook her head, tightening her grip on his hand. "No, Dad. It's not your fault. Please.""It is. I was so consumed by work that I neglected myself, turning to alcohol as a crutch. Now, I've put you in a difficult position when you should be living freely. I'm so sorry, Areum.""Please, Daddy. It's okay," she sighed, hoping to deflect his self-blame. "It will be over soon, I promise. I'll secure a loan, and we'll pay it back after the successful operation. Just stay strong for me, please," she urged, to which her father nodded."I won't let you down, Areum. Not this time," he vowed.Areum offered him a faint smile, reassured by his determination. T
Areum could hear screams as she walked down the halls. It was a guy and a girl obviously and the guy's voice sounded so familiar that it made her heart skip. But then she concluded it was the terrible conversation with Mr George that's affecting her. It didn't go well for real. The further she walked, the louder the voices got. "You're annoying me! I want to sleep!" She heard the guy's voice. She frowned now. That sounds like... Arizona. 'Is it him? 'She could never mistake his voice for anyone else's." Why?! It's not like you want to use female accessories! " The girl screamed and that was when Areum reached them. Surely it was Arizona. She didn't see his face but the back view was enough to convince her. He barked at the pretty girl before him, "I have a girlfriend okay? And its hers."Her heart fell. Did he just say he has a girlfriend? Areum watched as he pulled something off the girl's hair. He turned to Areum, causing her to freeze.Immediately Arizona saw her, his ey
After Areum pulled herself together, she walked up to her father, "Daddy." "Areum... Did you see the doctor... What did he say..." Areum sat with a frustrated sigh, "It's too much, daddy. We can't right now. We can't." She looked like she was about to cry again. James sighed. The two drowned in the uncomfortable silence, lost in thoughts. Suddenly, James asked "Darling, there's a solution and I want to know if you'll be willing to..." "... Why not?!" Areum cut in. She's willing to do anything for her father. James nodded, "You'll have to go to his house." Areum raised a brow, "His? Who?" "George Black." Areum looked genuinely confused, "Who is George Black?" James frowned at her, realising Arizona hasn't told her everything. James sighed, "He's someone I used to know. He's behind all of these." Areum stared at her father in confusion. George Black is the one behind all of these? Then how about Arizona and Kanye... "Here. " Areum heard her father say, giving her
Arizona flew up from his seat in alarm, screaming into the phone, "Hospital?!" Kanye frowned, "Hospital?" "What happened to her? Why is she in the hospital?!" Arizona rushed out, his heart pounding at the possibilities. Did she hurt herself? Did she try to... His heart shook. Immediately, he asked, "Which hospital?" "GoldBlue General. Are you going over?" "Immediately." Arizona said, rushing up the stairs of the mansion. Kanye rushed after him, worried also. They entered Arizona's room and he began to search through his wardrobe. "What happened to her?" Kanye asked him. "I don't even know." Arizona murmured, his voice trembling. He wore a shirt and jeans as fast as lightening. Picking his phone, he dashed out of the room. Kanye went after him, down to the garage. Arizona unlocked his car and was about to rush in when Kanye grabbed his arm. "Before you go,you need to keep something in mind. She might push you away." Arizona's heart fell, "I know that. But I st
Luella poked her head in to the living room and scanned around. The television was on but mute, leaving the house silent and gloomy. Arizona sat on the floor, his head casted down. She walked to him, squatting before him, "Arizona? Are you okay? What happened to you?" Arizona didn't reply but his shoulders trembled, making Ella frown, "Arizona. Please tell me. Then I can know what to do. I saw you with Areum earlier and..." "... She's gone." He whispered. He looked up to see a surprised looking Luella, "Gone? Where to?" Arizona closed his eyes and threw his head back, chuckling like a crazy person, "She left me. She's gone like...gone!" He barked at Luella, who flinched. "Oh my! I knew she was bad news immediately you started hanging out with her. Is that why you've been moody these days? What happened between you two?" The way Luella asked, her voice and facial expression would clear her off any suspicion. Her act was so perfect like she knows absolutely nothing about
