Silent Betrayal

Helios’s POV

I sat on the edge of my bed, my fingers digging into my thighs, my jaw clenched so tightly that it ached. My mind raced with everything that had happened. I had knelt before Star. My wolf had turned against me. I had been powerless before her. But that wasn’t the end. It couldn’t be.

She thought she had won. That she could strip me of my will, break me like a disobedient pup, and leave me crawling at her feet. But she didn’t understand. I was Helios Blackridge. The Alpha. The ruler. And no woman, no omega, was going to change that.

I had played along. Let her have her moment of dominance, let her believe she had tamed me. But that was a mistake on her part. She had let me close. Close enough to make her lower her guard.

I exhaled slowly, my gaze settling on the moonlight spilling through my window. It cast an eerie glow on my room, making the shadows seem deeper, and thicker.

His shoulders slouched, his tone softer, his gaze lowered in supposed submission. It was an act.He thought if he played along long enough, I would lower my guard. That I would welcome him into my arms, let him mark me, let him reclaim the control he had lost. He thought he was being clever. But what he didn’t realize was that I wasn’t just watching him. I was watching Hades, too. His wolf had already betrayed him.Helios had made a grave mistake in thinking he could lie to me. Hades might have been bound to him, but the moment Helios defied the mate bond—the moment he sought to control rather than protect, Hades had turned against him.I folded my arms, tilting my head slightly as if I were considering his words. “You understand now?” I asked, m

Helios’s POVI had seen battles before. I had led them. Won them. But nothing had prepared me for this. The rogues attacked just before dawn, their numbers swelling like a shadow over the Moonlit Pack’s borders. It should have been an easy fight. We were stronger. More organized. But something was different. They fought like they had nothing to lose.By the time the last rogue fell, Moonlit warriors stood bloodied but victorious. The air smelled of iron and damp earth, and my limbs felt heavier than they should have. I had fought as I always did, on the front lines, taking down enemies with precision. But now, standing in the wreckage of the battlefield, something was wrong. My body wouldn’t heal. The claw marks across my chest still oozed blood. My broken ribs burned with every breath. My wolf, Hades, was silent, not guiding me, not helping me recover as he s

Star’s POVThe pack begged. One by one, warriors, omegas, elders, all those who had once scorned me, dropped to their knees and pleaded.“Please, Luna.”“Don’t abandon us.”“Save our Alpha.”Their voices mixed together, were a desperate chorus echoing in the morning air. But I didn’t flinch. I didn’t even slow my steps. My decision was made.I walked through the heart of the pack I had once called home, my only belongings packed into a small bag slung over my shoulder. The sun was just rising, casting golden light over the pack house as the scent of breakfast wafted through the air, fresh bread and roasted meat, but I tasted nothing but the bitterness of my resolve. My fingers curled tightly around the strap of my bag as I stepped through the entrance, my feet light but my heart was heavy. It was early, and the dining hall was packed. Warriors sat at long woode

Helios’ POVThe world around me was slipping. But the moment my wolf, Hades, let out a soul-crushing howl inside my mind, I knew something was wrong. No, something was gone. A deep, hollow ache, spread through my chest, a pain far worse than any wound. My limbs turned to lead, my body burning and freezing all at once. My breathing hitched, coming in shallow, desperate gasps. And then it hit me. She left. My mate, my Luna, and my Starlight had left. The bond… our pack bond… was severed. I felt it vanish, like a tether that had been keeping me grounded suddenly snapping. And with it, my already failing body collapsed.A strangled noise escaped my throat as I felt my connection to everything fade, my pack, my wolf, my very soul. Hades howled

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    Return Of The Rogue Luna

Star’s POVThe motel room was dim, the flickering bulb above casting weak light across the peeling wallpaper. It was a cheap place, nothing like the cold, grand halls of the Moonlit Pack’s estate. But here, I was alone and Free. Or so I thought. The pain hadn’t left. If anything, it had worsened. My limbs ached, my wolf, Sky, was eerily silent, and my head pounded like a war drum. I lay curled up on the bed, my breath shallow. I didn’t regret leaving. But my body did.A soft knock on the door startled me. My fingers curled instinctively, muscles tensing despite the exhaustion. No one should know I was here. Cautiously, I pulled myself upright and walked to the door, pressing my ear against it. “Star,” a familiar voice whispered. “Please, child, open the door.” My breath hitched. Celeste.I yanked the door open, and there she stood, the mystical healer of the Moonlit Pack. Her silver hair shimmered under the hallway’s dim light, and her w

Star's POVI stood there at the threshold of the infirmary, my eyes trained on Helios. His eyes flickered open, meeting mine with a mixture of confusion, weakness, and... something else I couldn’t quite place.I felt the flicker of recognition deep within me. But it was buried beneath layers of everything he’d put me through, every insult, every cold look, every time I was cast aside as insignificant. This was Helios. The future alpha. The man who thought the world revolved around him. But I wasn’t here to coddle him.The murmurs from the pack grew louder, like a tide of anxiety slowly rising. They had been watching me, waiting for me to make my move. But I had already made it. • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    The Mark Of Power

Star's POVThe atmosphere was still with tension. The moment I stepped into the infirmary, the entire pack felt it, their gazes trained on me like hawks, waiting for a sign, a reason to breathe. Helios was still unconscious, his body pale and fragile, a shell of the man he once was. But the moment my feet hit the cold floor, a strange sense of relief washed over me.It wasn’t for him. It wasn’t even for the pack. It was for me. I could feel the shift in the air, like everything was aligning for this one moment. Helios was no longer the mighty, untouchable alpha. Star’s POVThe palace was too quiet. Moonlight spilled across the marble floors like silver blood, and the shadows seemed to breathe with a life of their own. I stood at the nursery’s threshold, fingers curled around the polished doorframe, unable to step inside.Something was wrong. I could feel it in the marrow of my bones, a tension in the air, a thrum beneath my skin. I forced myself forward, heart pounding. Inside the nursery, the twins slept peacefully... yet an invisible storm raged around them. Wisps of light, delicate as mist, curled and weaved through the room, touching the cribs with tender reverence. The air smelled of ozone and ancient magic. A low hum, almost like a heartbeat, vibrated through the space. They were dreaming. And through their dreams, their power was bleeding into the world. "Protect..." "Danger..." The whispered voices brushed against my mind, faint as the flutter of butterfly wings.I took a trembling step closer. The ground shuddered beneath my bare fe

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    No Kings, No Slaves

Star’s POVThe grand council chamber smelled of old stone and thinly veiled fear. Seated on the moonstone throne, I faced them, the gathered leaders of the supernatural world. Vampires, druids, wolf alphas, witch covens, and even some wary fae ambassadors. Their faces were polished masks, but I could taste their unease. At my side stood Helios, no longer a mere Alpha of Moonlit Pack. He was my mate, my shield, and my equal. And farther down, seated stiffly at the high counsel table, was King Hesperion. My biological father.A king who once tried to deny me. A king who now watched me with a complicated blend of guilt, pride, and awe. Calder Greyfang, the Grand Arbiter of the Council, slammed his staff against the marble floor, demanding order."We are gathered to address the consequences of treason against the Crown," he intoned. "And the...incident involving the demise of Ravena, Hutchins of the Moonlit Pack, and the former Queen of Hesperia."The word "demise" was almost too gentle.

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    In The Presence Of Fire And Light

Unknown POV Helios stood on the balcony just outside their private wing. The morning sun bathed the palace in gold, but his mind was a storm. He had seen enemies turned to ash, not by war, not by warriors, but by newborns wrapped in silken cloth.Star approached quietly, barefoot, hair down, a soft robe draped around her as if the cosmos had woven it. Her aura pulsed gently, no longer shy or hesitant, but commanding and calm, a sovereign in spirit. “You’re still thinking about it,” she said softly. Helios turned. “I failed to see it before. Who you really are. What you carry. What they carry.”“You didn’t fail,” she murmured. “You saw me when no one else did. Even when I didn’t see myself.” His throat tightened. “I submitted to you... because it felt right,” he admitted. “Even when everyone mocked me. Even when I thought you were just an omega... I felt your strength. But now...”Star stepped closer, cupping his cheek. “You don’t need to submit anymore, Helios.” He blinked. “I—what?”

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    A Queen's Request

Star's POV Later that evening, after the moonlight celebrations quieted and the palace halls glowed with soft amber light, I stood before the High Council in the Star Chamber. It's a vast circular room walled with crystal and etched with lunar glyphs. The King was seated at the head of the crescent table, his expression unreadable. The advisors whispered amongst themselves, still dazed by the roaring approval the public had shown me and the twins. But I was calm. Focused. Changed.“My Queen,” the King began, his voice warm yet formal. “Tonight you have earned the devotion of a kingdom. The people called you Moonborn... and I believe they were right to.” I inclined my head with measured grace. “I am honored, Your Majesty. But before we speak of titles and formalities, I have a request.”The murmurs quieted. The King studied me. “Speak it.” I glanced at Helios, who stood near the chamber doors in silence. Unlike the other alphas, he wore no medals, bore no sigil. Just quiet strength a

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    A Crown Of Fire And Light

Star's POV The days passed in a hush of healing, quiet awe, and growing light. For five full days, I rested, by order of everyone from Helios to my newly found dad to the Oracle herself. The twins never left my side. Their tiny breaths, their moonbeam fingers curling around mine, anchored me to this new reality: I was no longer the girl who once flinched from her own shadow. I was a mother now. A Luna. A sovereign in the making. And on the sixth day, we rose.Hesperion’s jet cut through the sky like a blade of polished silver. We flew above the cloudline, my newborns cradled in my arms, Helios seated beside me, tense but proud. The seats were stitched with ancient sun emblems, embossed with the Hesperion royal crest. Still, nothing felt heavier than the silence between Hesperion and his queen.“She has been kept in isolation,” he said, not looking at me. “No one has seen her since the Oracle’s declaration.” I didn’t respond immediately. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to face the woman

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    The Legacy Begins

Starlight’s POVThey think I’m resting. But how could I sleep when my soul is wide awake? Even in my fragile state, I feel the shift in the air, a hum of reverence outside these walls. As if the land itself recognizes me now. My body aches, my mind swims between exhaustion and euphoria, but I am not broken.I am reborn. Two tiny lives rest beside me, their warmth tethering me to this world. Each pup has my scent... and yet something more. One burns like fire, another shimmers like the sea, and hums with stardust and shadows. Our children are not ordinary. And neither am I.The door creaked open, and I didn’t need to look up to know who it was. His scent always preceded him, cedarwood, smoke, and something deeper now... regret, maybe? Or reverence. “Helios,” I whispered, and he froze mid-step, as if hearing his name from my lips physically struck him.He knelt beside the bed, eyes rimmed red, cheeks stained with silent tears. “Star… I still don’t understand how you survived. How you b

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    The Oracle's Whispers

Helios’ POVMy tears soaked the hem of her blanket, and for a moment, I forgot who I was, Alpha of the Moonlit Pack, future High Alpha, ruler of thousands. All I could feel was that I was hers.“I don’t deserve you,” I whispered, voice cracking as I pressed my forehead to her knee. “You almost died bringing life to this world, to give me something I didn’t even know I needed.”Star shifted slightly in the hospital bed, a wince escaping her lips. I immediately sat upright, guilt flooding my chest again. “Don’t move,” I said quickly, brushing her damp hair off her forehead. “I’ll get the healer.” She caught my wrist.“No,” she said softly. “Just stay here… with me. Our babies are asleep. This moment belongs to us.” Her fingers were weak, yet her grip on my soul had never been stronger.I sat on the edge of the bed and lifted one of her hands to my lips, kissing the back of it. “Star, I swear on my life, from this day forward, my only purpose is to protect you. And them.” She smiled gent

  • The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha    Essence Of The Ultimate Luna

Helios’ POVIf someone told me a year ago that I would be kneeling before the same wolf I once called a runt, I would have laughed in their face. But now… Here I am. On my knees. My heart a raw, pulsing thing in my chest.I remember the first time I laid eyes on her. Star. A frail little thing, bones too sharp, eyes too big for her face, always moving around like she didn’t belong. An omega, I believed. The lowest in our pack. I never spared her more than a glance. Why would I? I was Helios Bloodfang, the heir to Alpha Killian. Born into power. Groomed to command. I’d been told my mate would be strong. Respected. A fierce she-wolf that would rule by my side. When the bond snapped into place one cold morning, locking me to Star, that trembling, insignificant omega, I rejected it in my heart before the words even formed on my lips. I hurt her. Damn, I did worse than hurt her. I made her life unbearable. And she… she kept living. Kept breathing. Kept saving me, even when I didn’t deserve

But more than that… I felt something awaken within me. A warmth, no, a power, older than bloodlines, older than crowns and packs. It pulsed inside my chest. My gaze swept over the room. The warriors who used to shove me aside. The Elders who called me worthless. The Luna who turned a blind eye as my skin bruised and my heart hardened. Even Killian, Alpha in name alone, couldn’t meet my eyes. The beast within me stirred. Not the frightened pup they had raised in shadows. But the wolf born of Ayana’s line, of witches and royals. A true Lunaby right. The ultimate Luna. The power surged, and before I realized it, a deep, primal growl rumbled from my throat. It wasn’t rage, it was command. A sound layered with centuries of dominance, carried in the blood of Moon-Gifted wolves. It vibrated through
