Chapter 63 As purely as Leah did

After answering Grandpa Moore’s question, Eugene moved to stand next to Leah. He stared at her quietly and worriedly.

He could still see tearstained-tracks on her pretty face. Her hair covered half of her face, making her look even more pitiful and frail.

Leah blushed in embarrassment:

Another teardrop dripped off her eyelashes at that moment.

Eugene’s focus was now on Leah’s eyelashes. He could feel his chest heaving slightly as he

stared at her eyelashes in a daze.

“Hurry up and say sorry to her!”Grandpa Moore urged angrily.

“Why do I have to apologize to her? I didn’t make her cry.” Eugene frowned in confusion.

Grandpa Moore widened his eyes furiously. “Leah’s your wife,don’t you know how to pet a woman?”

“Grandpa,Eugene and I are already signed the papers.It might not be stamped by the court yet but I’m not his…”

“I don’t care.he never did anything for you during your two–year marriage! He owes you a lot now.”
