She ran outside, in a haste. She wasn't thinking straight or thinking about anything at all, she dashed outside the door and stood still. She paused when she saw the car. "I don't know where my father is, I don't know what hospital he is at, I don't have a ride." She palmed her face and waited. "Did he lie?" Did he say that to distract the cops?"
