Inside the skyscraper that was his business center, Damian sat in a black leather chair with a cold face. His office was on the highest floor, giving him a wide view of the city, but at the moment he didn't care about that.

In front of him, Hugo stood with a serious expression, handing over some documents to his boss' desk.

"Our stocks have plummeted in the past two days, sir. There are indications that someone has hacked into the company's internal systems and spread false information to the media. Investors are starting to panic," Hugo reported in a stern voice.

Damian stared at the numbers on the report with a hardened jaw. "Asshole. I already know who's behind this."

"Who do you think this is?"

Damian threw the report onto the table roughly. "Who else if not that bastard? Nathaniel Black."

Hugo nodded. "Nathaniel does have a motive. He's been wanting to bring you down for a long time, and with our business getting bigger, he must feel threatened."

Damian chuckled, bu

In a dark room lit only by a computer screen, Hugo sat with a serious expression. His fingers were nimbly typing on the keyboard, while the screen showed Nathaniel Black's corporate system slowly eroding. A few minutes later, one of Nathaniel's main networks was completely paralyzed. Hugo grinned with satisfaction. "Goodbye, your illicit business, Nathaniel." It didn't take long before his phone vibrated. It was from one of Nathaniel's panicked men. "What's going on?! Why is our system completely down?" the voice on the other end sounded frustrated. Hugo chuckled. "You've hit the nail on the head. I was just following orders." "You-" Without waiting any longer, Hugo disconnected the call and immediately called Damian. Inside the room, Damian was still awake. He was leaning against the headboard with Yara fast asleep on his chest. His cell phone vibrated, displaying Hugo's name on the screen. Carefully, he picked up the phone without waking Yara. "What?" "Working as o

That morning, Yara woke up earlier than usual. The sunlight coming through the window gently illuminated the room. Damian was still fast asleep next to her, his breathing regular, his face looking more peaceful than when he was awake. Yara looked at him for a moment before getting out of bed. She walked over to the closet, picked out some work clothes for Damian, and placed them neatly on a chair. After making sure everything was ready, Yara returned to the bed and sat by Damian's side. "Damian, wake up..." she whispered softly. The man stirred, still asleep. Yara sighed, then smiled a little. When did she start enjoying moments like this? She didn't know herself. Without thinking, Yara leaned in and gently kissed Damian's lips. Damian wiggled his eyebrows, squirmed slightly, but didn't open his eyes. Yara tried again, this time kissing him longer. Suddenly, Damian's hands moved, wrapping around Yara's waist, pulling him closer. Yara was startled, but before she could reac

The dining table was already filled with various dishes. Yara sat next to Damian, looking at him reading a document while enjoying her breakfast. Yara pushed a spoonful of rice towards Damian. "Come on, open your mouth," she said with a sweet smile. Damian glanced at Yara briefly before refocusing on his paperwork. "I can eat by myself." Yara snorted. "But I want to feed you." "No need," Damian replied flatly. Yara persisted, offering another spoonful of rice. "If you don't want it, I'll stay here until you open your mouth." Damian sighed, setting the document down. "You are stubborn." "And you're annoying," Yara quickly retorted. Damian stared at Yara, then turned to the servants standing in a row in the corner of the room, watching them expressionlessly. Suddenly, a sly smile appeared on his face. Yara was still waiting for Damian to open his mouth, but before she knew it, he was already pulling her by the scruff of the neck and crushing her lips deeply. Her eyes

Yara's body fell limp. Her head felt heavy, her vision was completely dark. She didn't know where she was, she just felt her body being shaken as if she was being carried in a speeding vehicle. Moments before, Yara was just about to get into a taxi when suddenly someone hit her on the back of the head. She didn't get to see who it was, and after that, everything went black. Elsewhere, at seven in the evening, Damian had just arrived at the Mansion. He got out of the car looking tired, but still charismatic. Usually, as soon as he got home, Yara would greet him, either with a frown, a curious look, or even a faint smile that always managed to break down his arrogance. However, this time... there was no one. Damian walked in with a flat expression, his eyes sweeping around the room. A servant bowed respectfully to him. "Where is Miss Yara?" asked Damian casually, taking off his expensive watch. The servant looked doubtful, "We don't know, sir. Miss Yara has been in her room

Yara sat in the corner of the small, damp room, her hands still bound. There was only one small window above her head, but the iron bars made it impossible to escape. How long had she been here? One day? Two days? Nathaniel stood in front of her with a triumphant look. "It's useless to beg, little girl. I won't let you go," he said casually, folding his arms across his chest. Yara gave him a hateful look. "Why did you kidnap me? I have nothing to do with your business." Nathaniel chuckled. "Oh, of course you do. You are Damian's greatest weakness. I wanted to see how that man would fall to his knees when he found out you were in my hands." Yara bit her lip, holding back anger. "Damian won't give up on you. He's not that weak." Nathaniel leaned closer, grabbing her chin and forcing her to look directly into his eyes. "We'll see about that," he said in a challenging tone. Yara brushed his hand away roughly. "I won't let you win." Nathaniel smiled wryly. "We'll see how long

In the dimly lit room, Yara sat on the edge of the bed looking at Damian's bruised face. Her heart ached to see him in this state. With trembling hands, she took a cotton swab soaked in antiseptic and began to dab the wound at the corner of Damian's lip. Damian winced slightly. "You intentionally hurt me more, huh?" Yara sighed, her voice trembling slightly. "If I could, I'd like to take away all your pain, Damian. But I don't know how." Damian stared at her silently, noticing how Yara's eyes seemed to glaze over. The girl looked down, rubbing the wound on her temple very carefully, as if afraid of hurting it further. Suddenly a drop of tear fell onto Damian's hand. He frowned. "Yara, why are you crying?" Yara swallowed, shaking her head lightly. "It's okay." Damian didn't believe her. His hand came up, his fingers touching Yara's chin, forcing her to look at him directly. "Tell me." Yara bit her lip, trying to contain the turmoil in her chest. "I... I'm scared, Damian.

Damian had just entered the mansion with calm steps. After a full day of dark business, his body felt a little tired, but his mind was still sharp. Hugo followed behind him, giving a brief report before finally leaving Damian alone. As Damian entered his room, his gaze immediately fell on Yara who was fast asleep on the bed. Her breathing was regular, her face looking peaceful under the light of the nightlight. Damian stood at the edge of the bed, staring at the girl unconsciously flashing a small smile. "Damn, why am I getting attracted to her?"Damian sighed, rubbing his face for a moment. Sure, Yara was originally just a tool for his revenge on Felix. But now? With each passing day, he became more and more unsure of his original intentions. She had wanted to wake Yara up, wanted to pull the girl into her arms, wanted to feel the warmth that had recently become addictive. But seeing Yara sleeping like that, he couldn't bear it. Damian finally moved to leave, but just as he t
