Zanthus helped Wren sit in front of him on the black horse, both legs on the left side.

"Don't let me fall." she murmured.

"Never." he spoke kissing the side of her head.

The Alpha King started their journey towards the forest, the one that Wren used to look at from their wing, she finally gets the chance to go deep into it, it was scary indeed, trees and paths were covered in snow, a beautiful sight indeed.

Wren put her hands inside her hood even though her lycan mate provided her enough heat, she looked intently around her, the forest looked breathtaking during the day now it took her breath away with how mysterious it is at night.

"It's dark." she whispered.

"For a human." responded the king which made her snap her head towards him.

"You can see?" Wren asked in disbelief.

"Yes my dear." he answered shortly.

"It's a lycan thingy?"

"Well all werewolves can see in the dark it's just the stronger you are the better it is." explained the Alpha king.

"i'm envious." she murmured again.
