Chapter 136: Elira

Zin couldn't bear to see Lyra in so much pain, and he knew that he had to come clean about his past. He took a deep breath and approached Lyra, his eyes downcast.

"Miss Lyra, I have something to tell you," he said, his voice trembling. "Something that I've been keeping from you for a long time. Something that even my master doesn't know about. I think this is time for you to hear."

Lyra looked at him, her eyes still red from crying. "What is it?" she asked.

Zin took another deep breath and began to speak. "Centuries ago, I was a demon with a cursed ability," he said. "My tongue had powers, and I could whisper bad thoughts to humans. Making them follow what I wish them to do I used to enjoy causing chaos and destruction because, as you know, we gain power through evil deeds. I started to abuse my powers as a dumb new demon who knew nothing better."
