Catherine stood still almost fidgeting in shock 'Wasn't that Mirabel? how come she looked okay and fine, yet, the goons still haven't called her?

She stood there dripping sweat and fear. If Mirabel was okay then what about the goons, she stood there regretting she sent them to handle Mirabel, she was scared right now.

After a few days and still no call from them, she started thinking that it was either they completed the job or Mirabel escaped. But still, they should have called her to report the outcome.
