Chapter 3- Damien

I woke up from my bed, untangling myself from Kayla’s naked body, the chick I fucked last night and went to the bathroom to freshen up. I need to get the sweat and smell of sex off of me from my last night’s adventure.

I am 27 years old but I still didn’t find my mate. I searched for her while visiting other packs on business but she was nowhere. So I concluded that either she is dead or I am mate less. Well she can’t be human at all.

Why would the moon goddess pair me up with a weak pathetic human? I would rather stay mate less than have a human as one.

The wolf part of me doesn’t like it when I sleep around with other girls. I try to supress that side. It’s a constant battle though. But what can I do? Guy’s got needs. I actually lost hope that I will ever find my mate.

I am an Alpha of one of the strongest packs in the world, The Forest Claws pack but don’t have a Luna. This is really hilarious. The goddess must be playing a joke on me. Well Kayla is really good in bed so I am not going to complain.

I have major anger issues and she is best for reliving my anger. Sex is best for that, well in my case it is. Who is going to tell me otherwise? I am the Alpha after all.

We can’t have kids with anyone other than our mates or someone we mark as our mate. So no worry in that department or this place would have been ended up swarming with a couple of mini-me s’. Okay! A lot of mini- me s’.

I freshened up and went out of the bathroom to get my cloths, that are probably lying somewhere on the floor. I hope I am not late or Caiden will kill me.

Kayla was already awake when I entered the room. She came near me with a seductive smile and trailed her hand on my naked body till my naval and stopped, giving me an innocent smile. Is this chick tempting me?

Well if I didn’t have to go out with Caiden I would have fucked her senseless right this instant. I smirked, wore my clothes and went out of the room. I saw her grinding her teeth from the corner of my eye.

She wants me to mark her and make her the Luna of the pack. She is not a suitable candidate for that position. I don’t want a slut for a Luna. 

I went downstairs to meet Caiden. We are going to his brother, Cole’s college. Caiden is my Beta and best friend. He asked me to come with him.

Three of my pack members are studying in that college. It’s an hour journey by plane from Italy. Cole, Adrian and Evan are studying engineering in England. We haven’t met them in like a year now.

Our flight is at 7 in the morning and we need half an hour to reach the airport. It’s already 6 am. We had a quick breakfast and left for the airport. Thanks to Caiden’s mad driving, we reached their in time.

After we landed in England, we took a cab to the college. We reached the college in half an hour. The cab driver was super slow.

Caiden called Cole and we met at the front gate and went inside as they had to work on some project. Their fourth partner is going to meet them there. We sat in a classroom talking. Well the others were talking and I started checking my emails. Apparently their partner is running late.

I was so engrossed in my work that I didn’t hear her coming in until Cole spoke to her. My wolf side perked up all of a sudden but I ignored it. It must be because we are in a new territory. The girl is stranger as well.

Cole introduced us to her. I turned my head to nod at her and stiffened. She smiled at Caiden. I saw her lips move. Why is she smiling at someone that’s not me? She is mine.

She is such a beauty. Her scent hit me so hard. She has a floral scent. She has long straight black hair, green eyes that compliments her olive skin and a cute baby face. She must be 5’3” or 5’4” to my 6’3”.

I got up in a haze and grinned. Now I know why my wolf side was on edge. I found my mate. I engulfed her in a flash and buried my nose in the crook of her neck. She smells divine. I am not letting her go ever.

She started struggling and shouting. Can’t she feel the pull between us? I tightened my grip on her and told her to stop moving. I felt her shiver. So I do have some effect on her. Someone spoke behind me and my mate said something too but I was so engrossed in her scent that I didn’t hear a word. I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder.

Nobody comes between me and my mate. I turned and growled in warning. The person was none other than Caiden. He bowed his head. That’s more like it. My eyes must be black. I turned around towards my mate. She looked scared out of her mind. I felt something odd though.

Why can’t I feel her wolf? I moved a bit back and stared at her. Then it hit me.

“Wait you are human.” I said more to myself, disappointed.
