Considering everything, Angel came to a realization; Evan was anticipating Evelyn to fall into his arms. He had threw the challenge and was determined to win it. Which is why he called out Evelyn, freeing Pissy and letting Phil call Angel to witness it.

In a state of fear, Evelyn ran with her screams, and upon seeing Evan standing there, she fell into the comfort of his open arms. She clung to him tightly, even more so than the first time, now that Pissy was standing next to them.

While Angel's eyes widened in shock and disdain at Evan's audacity, Evelyn didn't want to open hers and look at the dog. She buried her face in Evan's chest.

Angel began to fume knowing he had cheated in this challenge. Evan turned to look at Angel, who scowled in anger, and his smug expression only made her more furious. She wanted to go and smack his face and pull Evelyn away, at the very least.

But before she could take a step towards them, Mark pulled her back from behind.
