68. The Escape

Elisha’s POV

Everything that's happened to me has been like a million stab wounds to my heart. I'm crying like a fool on the floor because I feel worthless, and the guy who always kept me from being miserable is now making me sad.

I get up and get stronger. I'm not going to let them hurt me like this. I'm done with this, and maybe it's time for Arman to stop acting so crazy around me.

After punching the wall, a big hole appeared. I smiled when I finally saw the backyard. I dashed when someone heard noises in my cell.

I broke through the locked gate and looked for a car. I saw a man looking at me in shock and scratching his eyes. He ran inside, his eyes bleeding, and yelled, "Help!"

I took his car and drove it through the bush while I looked for a way out. Madeline was in my way and looking at me from a distance, but I was determined to go on my way.
