When we got out of the car I adjusted the bag on my shoulder before facing Sage. "Don't go up. I can go alone from here," I told him and pointed to the elevator.
I noticed that the security of the whole building was tightened even more, and even here in the car park the guard increased.

I bit my lower lip subtly and just nodded to avoid an argument. If I contradict him, the conversation will be long. And I am still embarrassed of how I confessed earlier at his penthouse.
