"I wonder why you would give her a red spider lily, my lord." Zed sat on his shoulder. "Are you playing around or were you serious? Because it's not nice to play with someone's feelings."

"I am always playful," Kenshi told him, "but I'm serious too."

"Woah!" Zed floats in front of him, waving his fluffy hands to stop him. "You can't fall in love with a hybrid, my lord! The light! You are not even supposed to be near any of them, useless humans!"

"Now, now, my little friend. They're humans, they've no great strength like us, they don't change into a hideous beast and they use magic, potions and spells but they're not really useless, Zed. Some humans know how to care, they laugh at the hardest times and they smile."

"Your subjects smile, my Lord. We are more like the humans too."

"See? We are the same creatures."

"If you say so, my Lord." Zed wouldn't want to argue more about it. "But why go home so suddenly? We're you serious about that?"
