All of a sudden all of them were trying to set her up. If it was not her father then it was Monica. Why can’t they understand that she needs time for herself? She rolled her eyes.

“What! Don’t fucking play with my intelligence. The three of us grew up together and we used to play in school. Don’t you remember him at all?” Monica’s voice was cold and irritated.

The image of the boy came in to her mind immediately. All these years, she tried to let go of her past life in order not to worry or miss her friends. Jackson was a great friend and they shared a lot together. She would have liked to meet him but as a friend and nothing more.
