Chapter 290

Jeremy was unhappy about the turn of events but decided to keep his mouth shut and respect Corinne's wishes since she agreed to it. Thus, that was how both of Corinne's hands were put into handcuffs.

Other than that, the bureau even sent someone to keep a watch over her from outside the door, which meant her freedom was temporarily restricted. However, they did not immediately interrogate her as she still needed to undergo a few more rounds of IV drips.
