Thank you all for your patience. I will like to remind everyone that I won't be updating on Wednesdays and Sundays, but the book will be Update Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I understand how some of you feel about releasing two chapters daily, but that is the best I can do. It takes hours to write and edit 4000+ words a day. Sometimes the hours aren't enough, and I must upload and then continue proofreading later. I do not make promises I can't keep, so I am pleading with everyone to bear with me. Two chapters a day is the best I can do for now. 🤗🤗❤️❤️
~Leo~ Morning came, and it was time to head to the King's hall for the hearing. As much as I looked forward to it, I wasn't enthusiastic about discussing Kyle and Linda's issue. I knew it would be a mess, and Kyle was too stupid to see that it wouldn't favour him either way. The truth was that th
She touched my cheek gently and searched my eyes, hopefully. I averted my gaze to douce the emotions we were both expressing, and I knew my actions let her down because she walked away to where her bag was. I got ready, and we headed out. Max was waiting for us at the entrance. The hotel provide

"Remain on the subject, Alpha Nikson. Do not derail," I warned, and he had no choice but to apologise. "Lady Linda is not in need but in search of revenge for grievances between us, of which I have apologised. It is cruel for her to want to displace people and plunge an entire pack into poverty as
~Amelia~ I was nervous about accompanying Leo to the King's hall. I did not think we were there yet, but I joined him since he insisted. When we got there, I was taken to a loge. As grateful as I was that I would not be sitting where there were multitudes of people, I was nervous about being aro
The hearing was over, and Leo asked me to join him. He took me to the King and Queens loge. I wasn't comfortable about it because of the things I said about Queen Tamia and my reservations towards the Monarchs, but I complied and plastered a smile on my face. If I wanted Leo to try with me, then i
I didn't want to come across as desperate because I wasn't, I was only giving it a try, but by the look of things, my heart might not be able to take it. I needed to prepare myself for it and get ready to move on. "Amelia," he called again and touched my thigh gently. "Come on, please," he said
