He thought that he was dreaming at first, but when he opened his eyes, she was really there. It was a very welcome surprise, because he had missed her more than it even seemed possible. Della felt him looking at her while she slept, and she opened her eyes slowly. She smiled and blinked a few times,to be sure that it was real. Caine smiled back and he leaned in and kissed her.
Della moaned through the kiss and she melted as she pulled him closer. "Please don't do this," she began to cry softly. "Please don't leave us alone in this world without you," she begged her love. It was almost more than he could bare. "Della don't cry, you know I have no choice. I need for you to understand that I'm doing this for you and the baby. Also, I don't plan on being the dead one at the end of the day," he said as he hugged her as tightly as he could and he kissed her forehead.
