Chapter 92 - A Meeting to remember

Alpha Mars’ POV (back at the palace packhouse)

Exactly 40 minutes later, I am showered and dressed for the meeting with my Alpha Squad with the addition of Benji who Artemis has dubbed ‘Sherlock’ and Freya, Hunter’s new mate and Ciara’s twin sister. Freya was also refreshed and out of that awful lama sweater. My heart stopped momentarily when I looked at her face because all I see is my mate… My Ciara. I shake off the feelings that threaten to expose my inner turmoil and get back to Alpha mode.

I slide two glasses and the empty whiskey bottle that I found in my room in Benji’s direction. “Benji, I want you to get with Dr. Nancy after the meeting and take some of my blood and check these as well… Something feels off, I know I didn’t have sex with Hazel, but I can’t remember a thing. Even my wolf seems sluggish.”
