Chapter 4

Is it possible to feel your heart stop and you feel so alive at the same time ? 

Yes , 

He sees her , standing there like a little fairy . If he says this is the most beautiful sight he had ever seen in his entire my life ,it would be an underestimate.

As he sees his whole life before him. 

"Happy birthday my angel ."  He can't stop himself from saying it .His mouth has it's own will saying this words. It's been so long since he wanted to do that. Every year he wished her from far away. But today he is standing in front of her , wishing her happy birthday, seems like a dream.

'It can't be true, can it?' 

 

'Did I scared her?'

'No you imbecile, you just make her feel afraid.' 

He mentally roll his eyes at his internal monolog.Her back was facing him so he can't see her expression. He is inching to run inside to turn her around so that he can finally see her beautiful face up close.He has waited too long to not be impatient.

'Too damn long!'

Then as if hearing his pleas she turns around slowly.A gasps leaves his mouth.

'She is ... Enchanting'

'The pictures didn't justify her real appearance fully. And hell her pictures were filled with gorgeousness'

'It's definitely not as same as looking at her from far away.'

The Devil takes in her appearance like hawk.

She is wearing the dress that he gifted her,looking like a princess.

'My princess' 

'Did her mother or brother told her about me and the gift?' 

'I don't think so, she looks surprised. Really surprised!'

'Anyway it is better if they didn't told her about me. The devil doesn't have good things to be told about.'

'Right! I don't want my little girl to hear those things.The last thing I want is her being afraid of me!' 

She looks at him breaking him from his blabbing. They locked eyes and every other thought instantly vanished from his head, only her.Looking at those dark brown eyes he feels all the emotions that were looked up in his far corner of heart break free. He never thought he can feel this way! He feels like crying then and there. He feels like ...bending on his knees in front of this angel.

'So angel like.'

He can't believe his eyes and mind that is producing these thoughts.  

the feelings is simply out of the world. The a thought hits him,he can just look at her all day . 

'But what is most important now is that what is she thinking ? Did she like my appearance ? Was she afraid of me?'

If she is afraid of him it will be understandable and quite normal to do so.As everyone who has ever came across him feels the same way.

He has made sure there was no blood from his wound earlier.His own blood which is wierd since it is always the other way around. His enemies blood is the only thing that tinted his hand red.Lucas insisted they go and check his wound but that will mean he will be late attending his Seanah's birthday which he is attending for the first time so that was not even an option for him.He was going to see his angel up close for the first time.He was going to show him to her for the first time.Every second that was not leading him to her was simply felt wasted to him.

He cleaned his wound and changed into a fresh jacket on their way in the car. His car always has this kind of arrangements.

After some time observing him as if she just remembers something ,she broke their eye contact . which he doesn't like at all! 

She quickly went behind her mother as he takes a step inside . He Doesn't like that either . 

'I scared her . Didnt I ?'

"It's alright ,he won't hurt you," he hears her mother say.

NEVER ! 

'My angel shouldn't be scared of ME.' 

Disappointed , he carefully goes to stand in front her mother. This was the first time he looks around and notice her brother and friend.He was too busy looking at his love . 

She peeks through her mother's arm from behind. Her butterfly tiara falling to the side of her head in the process.

'So adorable'

As he stops in front her mother she does one thing that he didn't expect and he wished he did so that he can stop that horrible incident that is about to happen.

The little angel takes of running towards the stairs. She is wearing the long princess dress so the next thing that happens makes sense.

She falls.

  Running away from him!  Everything happens so fast to process.

He lost it . Hia brain couldn't function how fast that happened. He just knew As soon as she fell , his heart felt like crushing and now he quickly pulls her head on his lap while shouting her name like a plea.

"Seanah ! Seanah , angel open your eyes !!" 

He gently touches her cheeks. 

She is unconscious ! 

"LOOK AT ME. "

'NO!'

'NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO YOU.'

'I WON'T LET'

'THIS IS MY FAULT.'

"The doctor said it is just a normal 

unconsciousness. She will come around soon " Lucas said standing in the doorway of his little angel's room he is not allowed to enter here.

"Why SHE IS NOT WAKING UP !!!"

He can't help but roared out . 

'How dare he said she was fine, she was anything but fine , she was still unconscious for God sake!' 

The more clock rolls the more he grows impatient. He is the most patient man in his field of work. But it's about Seanah and he is losing every bit of his sanity as well as patience.

"In time she will be , trust me it's nothing serious ! And calm the fu*k down for a bit . You don't want to trouble her now king by being desperate, do you ?" Maybe it is Lucas that can say something like that in front of the devil and stand alive. 

"Get out of my sight ." he calmly orders him which he oblige quickly.

He is holding Seanah's hand now for the last 2 hours. Her mother , brother and friend is waiting outside . He just Wants to hold his baby's hand alone so, they are outside . As simple as that.

They came for sometimes to check but her brother was testing his patience! 'How dare he think I will do any harm to my love !?'

"Is your doctor trusted?" There he goes again . 

"No just a random man , I give my angel to treat her wounds," he replies sarcastically while rolling his eyes at him.

He sits up from the chair beside the bed to sit beside his Seanah on her bed. He is still holding her hand . She looked so peaceful. Her lips came out to form a adorable pout.

'So Cute.'

'Yes cutie little princess'

'And when did you learn to think like that!'

'Maybe when you laid your eagle like eyes on her.'

"I will be just out side ." her brother rolled his eyes secretly and goes out the room . 

'If just he wasn't my angel's brother...'

 He is getting worried . So he calls the doctor again for the 9th times , he just left about half hour ago assuring him countless of times that she will be just fine and wake up soon. 

"Mr . Rob , WHY THE FU*K SHE IS STILL _ " 'OH NO I shouldn't be shouting beside her!'

"S-she will king ,j-just give h-her some time !" 

OK . Now the doctor sounds like begging. 

He just hangs up on him , doesdn't like to hear one thing repeatedly when it's not actually happening. When actually she is not waking up any time soon . He mentally notes to end the useless doctors life.

' I am usually a patient person and know what to do in emergencies. But every minutes are basically torture ! '

He holds his angel close to him from behind .

He is just waiting . 

Waiting to see those pure and gorgeous eyes on him.

'Purity shouldn't be touching me, it should be kept far away from a evil like me...

but do I care now ? Fu*k no!'

After what seems to be a life time she moved in his arms and tried to open her eyes! 

'I will never let you go angel.'

Lucas pov;

"COME HERE RIGHT NOW WITH A DOCTOR!!!"

"Okay I -" before I can even finish the sentence the phone call ends. I told him to see the doctor first. That dude will never listen to me! But it is strange he will not behave like a kid on demand while being hurt. He barely gets hurt.Even if he gets, he never seems to care.

That is my job.

I quickly call our most trusted doctor Mr. Robert on my way to our Queen's home where he is now.And let me tell you I never saw him like I did today going there.Nervous plus happy.

I was wrong. Very wrong and right at the same time.That dumbass will never change. He still doesn't care for himself or anyone. 

But what has changed is that he more than cares for our little queen.

"No injections doc!" 

There he goes again.

"But it is necessary K-king!"

At this king glares at the doctor then the injection on his trembling hand.He is holding onto Seanah's hand as if she will vanish anytime soon.

"It will hurt her." He says to himself.He is acting crazy since I got here seeing Seanah pass out.He is never the one to loose control nor patience.

I step up this time, " That is not the point here, it will help her awake trust me!" 

I point out the only fact that he was demanding all this time, 'Why is she not awake!' 

"Isn't there any other way?"He expectantly asks . 

Yes he is acting like a child here. Ofh!

"No, trust me it will not hurt her!" I am practically rescuing the doctor from talking

He sighs closing his eyes, "Okay. Do it carefully!!!"

The doctor injects Seanah but not before I personally calm him down from panicking in front of the Devil. That will not do good to our queen. The doctor has known us for a long time now. But he never saw this version of the king. 

But I wish I could say that everything went well.

 No 

The moment the doctor pushed the injection on her skin, Seanah frown a bit in her still pass out form.

That's it .

That did it.

The Devil got furious no Lethal on both of us.
