It's been over a week since Tristan arrived at the human world and things have not been as he expected it to be.
He didn't expect to find the one who would break his curse easily but adjusting to the lives of the humans has not been the best.
Everyday he woke up having it at the back of his mind that he had to go to work and that wasn't the problem but having the handle the company was.
The moon goddess had only shown him the life of Tristan Stone but not how to live the life of Tristan Stone.
For the first two days, he had difficulty handling the computer and going through the files always at his table every morning.
He had to ask the moon goddess for guidance and she had told him she had no idea of how the humans worked. She however told him to watch videos that could help him and in no time he was handling things even though he wasn't fast with it.
Tristan groaned as he got up from the bed. He drank so much that he passed out too. He was against the idea of drinking because Simon did not let him.
He was afraid that Simon might get suspicious of him as he had refused to eat beans after tasting it. He later found out beans was Tristan Stone's favourite food and had to eat it even though he didn't like the taste of it in his mouth.
Two nights ago, Simon had dragged him to a bar and offered him drinks. He almost vomited after a shot of tequila. He felt his head swell the moment he swallowed the shot of tequila.
It was really bitter and his stomach began to rumble. He wanted to vomit but he couldn't as he remembered that tequila was Tristan Stone's favourite.
He got angry at some point. He was not happy that Tristan Stone had to like things that didn't suit well and now he had to endure it so as not to blow his cover as he had a mission to fulfill.
Just as Tristan thought he was going to have Sunday to himself, Simon dragged him out again. For the first time in Tristan's life, he was surrounded by people who were in their own world.
Everytime Tristan walked and people stopped to smile and greet him, he felt a foreign feeling everytime.
He wasn't used to this and for some reason he was glad that he wasn't treated the same way he was treated back in his world.
Tristan placed his hand on his head as he tried to get himself. The alcohol from last night was still affecting him.
Tristan got up from his bed and ran to the toilet to throw up. Memories of what happened last night resurfaced in his head and he promised to never drink again.
"Why do I have to come here?" Tristan asked Simon as they made their way to the VIP section.
"You have to be here because it's our thing. Saturday and Sunday are the only days we don't have to work or think about work. It's our resting day and day to have fun," Simon reminded him.
A glimpse of Tristan Stone memory resurfaced in Tristan's head and he sighed. He had forgotten the tradition between Simon and Tristan Stone.
"Hey beautiful ladies," Simon smacked his lips as he saw the two ladies who were seated waiting for them.
"Took you quite a long time to get here," Amaya, the girl with pink hair said to the men.
Simon walked closer to her as she stood up on her feet and he hugged her. "I had to get Tristan, you know how he is," Simon said to her as he grabbed her ass.
She giggled at him while batting her fake eyelashes.
The other girl with Amaya adjusted so that Tristan could sit down beside her. Tristan raked his hair with his finger as he walked closer to her. As much as he appreciated the new life he got here where he didn't feel unloved and unwelcomed, the life of Tristan Stone wasn't something that suited him.
He sat down beside Effie and before he knew it, she sat on him so that she was stranding him.
Tristan was taken aback by Effie's action as no one has ever been this close to him. The human world was quite different from the world he came from.
The way and manner they live in the human world was quite different from the way they lived in his world.
The human world was more different from his world and as much as it fascinated him, there were things that just didn't sit well with him.
Effie began to grind on him but he immediately put his hand on her waist to stop her from moving. "I will be back," he said to her.
She got up from him with a frown on her face as she knew that he wasn't feeling her. The moment Tristan left, Effie spoke ,"What's wrong with him?" She asked.
Simon pulled back from kissing Amaya to answer Effie. "Just ignore him. He will catch up soon," he replied before kissing Amaya back.
Once Tristan finished easing himself, he came out of the restroom. While he was walking, he began to feel dizzy. He hasn't drank anything yet he felt dizzy and so he stopped walking to take a break. From where he stood, he saw someone and in a blink of her eye, the person was gone. The person looked familiar, he was sure of it and so he began to search around but couldn't find her as he was sure it was a 'she'.
He went back to join Simon. By the time he returned, they'd already brought drinks.
"Welcome back Tristan," Simon said.
Effie began to kiss Tristan all over his face but he stopped her. He was dome trying to do the things Tristan Stone did as it only made him irritated.
"Stop." He said firmly, taking her by shock.
"What?" Her brows furrowed in confusion.
"I said stop okay," he repeated himself again.
Simon was surprised by Tristan's action. "Let him be Effie, just go," Simon said to her.
Effie frowned at Tristan, rolled her eyes before leaving them.
That was how Tristan started to drink till he passed out and how he got back home was history to him.
Every day Tristan woke up with the hope of finding his mate but it seems fate has other plans for him. No matter how hard he tried and not matter how carefully he looked at every lady who he saw every day, none of them seemed to have glowing eyes. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and Adrian wasn't having it. He didn't expect things to be as difficult as they were for him. He was doing fine as Tristan Stone and has now gotten used to being Tristan stone. As much as he loved the way he was treated in the human world and how different it felt compared to his world, he knew he had come here for a mission and time wasn't smiling with him. It felt like a blink of an eye and eight month passed yet Tristan didn't come across any female with the glowing eyes. He thought he might have seen her and not recognized her and so he cried to the moon goddess to come to his aid. "What
After a year in the human world, Tristan did not believe he would finally see the woman with the glowing eyes. He began to look carefully at her from her red hair to her forehead then to her pointed nose, to her high proud cheek bone and then to her lips. The moment his eyes landed on her lips, she parted them and he cursed mentally. He took his eyes off her lips and looked back at her eyes and it glowed again. It was just as the Moon goddess had told him. He would feel an instant connection the moment he saw her. "Excuse you?" The lady voice snapped Tristan out of his thoughts with her calm and soothing tones that sent a jolt of electricity down his spine. "Oh I'm sorry," Tristan said.
"Tonight's was beautiful, thanks to you," Tristan said to Lydia and she smiled at him in return. "You made my night lively and different. I actually came here to ease myself because of the stress I'm currently facing. Meeting you wasn't the plan but I'm glad I did tonight," Lydia said. "I'm honoured. I also cake to relieve myself from stress and overthinking and I'm glad I was able to do that and the credit goes to you Lydia," Tristan tells her. She heaved a deep sigh. "I guess I have to go now," she said getting up from her stool but in the process, she lost her balance but Tristan caught her just before she fell. His hands were firmly on her waist and they sent a jolt of electricity down her spine. Their eyes met and her lips parted slightly. She placed her hands on his shoulder to balance herself and until she was standing properly
Tristan found it hard to sleep as he continuously tossed and turned on the bed with Lydia's face in his head. He felt he was close to achieving his mission and the kiss she placed on his lips just before she entered her room still had an effect on him. While he thought of all the possible ways to keep communicating with her and winning heart, the words of the moon goddess resurfaced in his mind and then it hit him. The moon goddess had told him it won't be easy and then he groaned silently. "Just sleep already Tristan. You don't have to work yourself. Let situations handle themselves okay?" He said to himself and just as he was about to succumb to darkness, he heard voices from downstairs. He looked at the time on his alarm and mentally cursed as he wondered what all the noises were for. He got up from the bed, wore his slippers and walked downstairs to see what was hap
Tristan watched as Lydia walked on the stage, showcasing the cloth she wore with a smile on his face. He only came for runway shows because of business but he came now because he wanted to see Lydia. She has been on his mind since two nights ago and after the long wait, he was finally going to see her again. Yesterday he called her and asked if she was busy in which she told him she was and so because he wanted to have some time with her, he decided that he would come watch her walk on the runway and after that, they'd go out for dinner so as to catch up. He watched Lydia's long legs that were clearly out in the open because she was wearing a dress with a slit that stopped on her waist. The dress was barely covering her body and as much as he didn't want to think dirty, he couldn't help but imagine her naked. The small kiss she placed on his lips that night
The man Tristan came across earlier left questions in his head that he barely listened to Lydia and she noticed. "We can call it a day if you are exhausted," Lydia noticed that his mind was elsewhere. "No. Not at all. I'm sorry, I was thinking about something," Tristan. "Thinking about what? Do you mind sharing?" Lydia asked inquisitively. Tristan pinched the bridge of his nose before exhaling. "It's not something to talk about. It's no big deal at all. I'm sorry for zoning out. I will make it up to you," Tristan said. Lydia smiles. "It's no problem. If you do not mind excusing me. I have to use the restroom," she said, taking her small purs
"Quit beating around the bush and get straight to the point. Not everyone has time to waste. I'm sure since you have been in the human world for a very long time, you must know Tristan Stone isn't a man that jokes with his time, don't you?" Tristan curled his lips to the side. The man chuckled. "Then I might as well just introduce myself and not waste the precious time of Tristan Stone." The man cleared his throat. "I am Lancelot. The Alpha of Blue moon pack who you have shamelessly defeated and wiped out my entire pack. I'm sure you must not remember my name so I will tell you. In this world it's a thousand years ago but in our world it's three years ago. I was the alpha you left a scar on and almost tore me apart but I didn't die. On the verge of death, I saw the white light, the light that connected the human world and our world together and was transformed into the man's body," Lancelot clarified.
Tristan groaned in pain when he woke up to the ray of the sun reflecting on his face. Last night Simon had dragged him out to drink and he drank more than his limit and ended up getting drunk. "I have to stop drinking," he mumbled while sitting on the bed. "Good morning sir," Aria greeted. "Good morning," Tristan replied before getting up from the bed and going into his bathroom. He felt a wave of nausea hit him. Some minutes later, after brushing his teeth and taking his bath, he came out. Tristan stood by the side of the road, waiting for his assistant who had hurriedly gone to get him coffee when someone bumped into him. "I'm so sorry sir," the teenage girl quickly apologized before glancing at her wrist watch. Tristan felt a strange aura around the girl but they were faint so he couldn't tell what exactly
Jade arrived just in time to stop the Queen mother from sacrificing herself for their realm. She was fortunate to come meet the Queen mother while she is preparing for it."Are you sure this would work?" The Queen mother asked Jade."Yes Queen mother. I was able to put the Priestess to sleep just like it happened with the dragon controlled by the demon. If you could help, with your powers, I would be able to reach out to many kinds at the same time and break the side effect," Jade explained."What about Tristan? Was he able to do as he said he could?" The Queen mother asked."Yes," The Moon goddess replied.I can see it from here. Tristan has successfully broken the spell and his pack members are all assembled in one place," The moon goddess said."Luna has also managed to repair the veil but it won't last long. She is currently sleeping now due to using all of her strength," The Moon goddess added."I am very surprised. Not only did you get Lydia to stop but you were able to break the
The moment Simon saw Lydia's face, he panicked.Lydia smiled. "Should I?" She said and Jade stopped her from walking any further."Why were you screaming?" Jade asked Simon who suddenly lost his voice when he saw Lydia.Tristan was surprised to see Lydia beside Jade and she wasn't intending to harm them. Although he could see that, Simon couldn't see that as he ran to hide behind Tristan."She won't hurt you," Jade told him. "So tell me why you were screaming," Jade asked."We want to leave this place," Simon said."Leave here and do what? Create more problems? Do you think you can actually solve the problem at hand?" Jade inquired."I might not be able to solve the problem at hand but being here does nothing to me. We cannot be here and Tristan Stone might be in danger too," Tristan explained. "The whole realm is in chaos and I am sure you know of that. Even if you go there, you will only be affected as every other person has lost their sanity and is blood thirsty and you...'' Jade
The vampire king smirked."Of course I am the only one against this because it it's nonsense like I said," he replied."It's not nonsense. You just constantly prove to me that you are very selfish and that makes you unfit to lead your people. You cannot..." The Vampire king harshly cuts the Moon goddess off."Don't you," he said through gritted teeth."Don't you dare," he said."Enough!" The Queen mother intervened."Since my method isn't wanted by all. Then every one should save their realm all by themselves," The Queen mother said."What are you trying to say?" The Moon goddess asked."I will save my realm and close the veil by sacrificing myself. Since you all cannot do the same for your kind, then i am afraid that there is nothing I can do for any of you," she said."I will be sacrificing myself for my kind too. I am ready," the moon goddess said and the Vampire king laughed out loud."Fine then," he said, making the queen mother and Moon goddess wonder what he meant."You both ca
The four gods also known as the rulers of the four realms all assembled together."I see it has finally happened," the vampire king said."Sadly it has. The vision of the witches priestess did come to pass," the queen mother seconded."How do we seal the veil?" The Vampire king asked. "The humans are dying in the hands of my people and the white light of hope seems to be everywhere. If things continue this way, I am afraid that a lot of humans will die and the werewolves too so we have to hasten up," The vampire king added."When the vision of this coming to pass was said by the witches priestess, I remember saying we needed to act before it happens but nobody listened. I remember saying we needed a way to seal the veil should it happen but nobody listened," the moon goddess said. "It is all my fault and I am ready to take responsibility for it," The queen mother said."You taking responsibility for it won't solve the issues at hand," The vampire kind said."You should have killed h
"So you mean to say that the time you went missing, you weren't really missing but you ran away because you were afraid of being killed?" Jade asked and Lydia nodded her head."I was restless for years. Unable to sleep and so in order to keep them away from me, I made sure to be very useful in the realm and also give pain to people. To be honest, they did not lie about me getting joy from seeing other people in pain. indeed I am the evil one and I proved them right," Lydia said."You not being killed then meant the Queen mother refused you got killed. You didn't hear them speak till the end, did you?" She asked and Lydia shook her head."Exactly. The Queen mother has always treated us as if we are her own kids. I didn't know any of this way happening. I just knew your attitude toward me changed but I thought it was okay. I'm sorry I didn't know what you were going through," Jade apologized."The four
"Will you tell me what happened to you that day? What you heard and when you heard it?" Jade inquired. They were now seated on a log in the forest. Lydia took in a deep breath and exhaled. "It was the day we turned ten. I heard it all when I was told to go ask the priestess for some herbs," Lydia began. ****** "Happy birthday Luna and June," the divine sisters of the witches realm greeted Jade and Lydia respectively. "Thank you so much sisters," Jade and Lydia said respectively. "Today marks your tenth birthday and also a new stage in your respectively life. You will both be given a new power today and we all look forward to it," divine sister Mirabel said and they both smiled at her. "Thank you sister Mirabel," Jade said. "Thank you sister Mirabel," Lydia said. "You are welcome.
Jade was able to follow Lydia thanks to the spell she placed on Lydia while fighting with her."Luna!" Jade called but Lydia wouldn't stop. She tilted her head to see that Jade was hot on her trail and so she kept running."Just stop already Luna!" Jade exclaimed."Why? So that I will get killed? Well I do not intend on living anymore but I will not die until I have completed my mission!" Lydia exclaimed."What mission? Why do you have to do this? There is no gain if you keep up with this? In the end you will lose so what's the essence?" Jade said to Lydia."I do not care, good witch! I will not only destroy the four realms but I will make sure there is no way to restore it back."Just why do you have to do that? What would you gain? You just want to destroy everything and guess what, when you do destroy everything, the vision of you being destructive will co
"Can you hear me Tristan?" Simon asked as he watched Tristan move his body.Tristan groaned. Not only did he feel his head ache but his body too. The little kiss of Jade has helped reduce the pain he felt but then Lydia attacked him again.Compared to before his pain wasn't much. He struggled to get up and Simon helped him.Tristan has not been unconscious all the while Lydia took him with her and the battle between her and Jade commenced. He looked around to see that he was in a completely different place and it made him worry as the skin between his brows creased."Where am I?" He asked frantically while he kept looking around."It's currently a war in the whole place now and this is the safest place right now," Simon replied.Tristan furrowed his eyebrows. He didn't understand what Simon was talking about and what he meant by war.
The spell Jade casted was stopped on an instance. Jade and Lydia turned to look at the person that had interrupted."Queen mother," they both said together and bowed their heads.Queen mother, the queen of all witches and one of the most powerful creatures alive."I see the both of you have decided to create chaos knowing well what could happen and how it would affect the balance of the four realms," she said. The queen mother has been living for the longest time and is said to see the future. She could do and undo things, making her power one of the best."My apologies queen mother but it seems Luna is persistent on dying or rather proving she is stronger than I am," jade answered."What is happening to you Luna and why have you decided to do this? This wasn't how you were supposed to act and you have broken a lot of rules and you will be punished for it," T
