28. Not normal

A day later

I didn't expect Valen to agree for me to stay back at the house. I mean I don't see the point in sending me to Adelaide’s house. It's not like I have interest in learning whatever medicinal practice. But then he's acting strange since last night. He didn't talk much. Only locked himself in the room.

Neither of the two knows the answer. After much contemplating, I packed his dinner and ascend my way up to his room. I sounded my fist on the door getting no response. “He’s going to act ignorant again” I muffled out rolling my eyes. I choose to enter without the need of getting informed to enter.

As expected, he was seated at his desk. He spared me a second before dropping his attention back to his desktop. I wonder what he's doing with it. If he can have electronics, why then won't he communicate with the outside world? I wondered.
