CHAPTER 50

(AHVI'S POINT OF VIEW)

“You look gorgeous,”

That's the first thing Miss Katherina says as soon as I arrive at the venue and gets out of the car as she waits for me outside the building.

I'm wearing a red ankle length dress with a slit at the front that reaches my thigh and a pair of black heels. My hair is done neatly and my face is touched with makeup.

I smile at the compliment. “Thank you, Miss Katherina, you look beautiful too,”

She offers me a hand. “Ready?”

I look at the massive building. Inside determines my future for the Olympics and how many sponsors I get. I look back at Miss Katherina and take her hand. “Let's party,” I voice and she escorts us inside the building.

The inside is one hell of a luxury. The floors are shining and the ceiling is just as gleaming with beautiful chandeliers, there are few tables here and there and it's filled with people of different occupations. This is an event that comes every three years where every skater from all organizations in Chicago
