Third Person’s POV
Sylvia was enjoying her chateau lafite on her balcony. She wasn’t planning to open the bottle after a few days being at home, but the stress that her son is giving her is too much that can only be cured by the expensive drink. She watches the white Lexus ES 350 enter the main gate. It was Max. He spent the whole day at the company. Sylvia knows why.Their marriage was a mistake to begin with. She didn’t have any admiration towards Max. Even after the marriage they both know that the bond they have is a mere responsibility that needs to be obtained for the benefit of their parents. But regardless of the reason, Sylvia has only one thing in mind. To keep Henrick’s rightful spot as the future owner and CEO of E-Vans Technologies. She once failed with her plans, she no longer wants to crash her goal for her only son.Max had gained the inheritance of his father because of Sylvia, she carried a son that was full of potential to be an heir andHenrick’s POVThe loud ringing of my phone wakes me up from my nap. Irvin was probably too tired that even the annoying vibration of the gadget that I didn’t notice fell on my pocket and landed on the bed, just between us.I checked the caller, it was Ran. “Yes?” I slowly stand on my feet. Hoping not to wake him up.“Sorry to wake you up.”“It’s fine.” I walked out of the room and headed back to my room “Do you have any update?”“No. I haven’t found Donnie yet. But I found some gems in the process of my digging.”“And that is?” Puzzled at ‘gems’ that Ran has been talking about. What I am sure of is he is not referring to a stone.“Well, there are numbers of staff on the scene during the shooting. And after they were rescued by the Italian police, all that was left was the shattered Villa. There are also no bones or remains on the island. All the police had found was the Italian employees that were hiding at the seaside.”
Finn was still on the couch when Boone entered the room. His body was taking one-fourth of the two long L-shaped couches connected. Oliver and Zeke were just standing in the corner, enjoying their free drinks before heading downstairs to vibing with the other guests tonight. "Is he drunk again?" Boone asked Zeke."Nope. He is just sleeping." He replied as-a-matter-of-fact.Oliver walked closer to them and whispered, "Aren’t you going to take him home?" "Why?" He smiled. "Nothing." He shook his head. "I'm just curious." Zeke laughed at him. Giving him a strong slap on his shoulder. "God! Is that your way of asking Finn's drink for yourself?""What d'you mean?" His brow furrowed, looking at the two exchanging laughter at the situation that he can't get a thing. Oliver raised his glass, almost empty. The remaining orangey liquid inside of it can be done in one gulp. They asked the staff for an additional order of the drink but unfortunately they added some concoction that the manage
Five in the morning, Henrick’s alarm woke him up from his deep slumber. Irvin was still on his shoulder, arms resting on his waist. He watched his chest rise and fall on every breath that he takes. For Henrick, Irvin looks way more attractive when he is not stressing out. When his brow doesn’t furrow and his eyes crease as the tears escape and fall down through his cheeks. If only he can shield away all the problems to keep him in his safe zone, Henrick would probably make it possible. He reached out for his phone that rested on the bedside table, and shut the endless uproar of his alarm without breaking the embrace. Henrick intentionally set the alarm way too early than he usually does. Last night, when Irvin already drifted to dreamland, he changed his seven AM alarm into five for his plan. His right hand carefully scooped Irvin’s head and slowly took away his left arm underneath it. Making sure that his movement won’t wake the sleeping beauty besides him. There isn’t light peeking
Passed ten when Boone and Finn left the Condo. They’re both excited for different reason. Finn is looking forward for the Japanese Cheesecake. He stroll the internet last night about this newly opened café that Boone was talking about and the cheesecake were the one that really took his interest. While Boone was anticipating the fact that he had a chance to do their usual thing when they are still together. He was hoping that it will make Finn realize that he also missed him as his lover and would take back his words. If it won’t happen then he’ll find another way. After ten minutes of drive, they reach the said café. It is a minimalist styled two story café. Wherein the second floor was designated for customers that wants to enjoy to eat in private. It has six small rooms that contains a small table, set of chairs, one or two wall decorations and wide glassed windows that gives the customers the different views. Boone didn’t hesitate to avail the private one, the farthest room from t
It’s almost lunch time yet Henrick and Irvin are still not in the mood to get out of bed. They had their breakfast together and had a little bit of chit-chat and went back to bed. Not to sleep. Just laying down on the mattress, embracing each other under the blanket. His head was at Henrick’s shoulder while the other was busy fondling his hair. “I’m glad you liked my surprise.” His eyes were closed. Henrick didn't feel sleepy at all. But instead he is sensing the mere moment. Where he could feel his warmth, his soft skin touching his, and even his breath brushing on his neck. It gives him both chills and homely comfort.“Mmhn.” He groaned. Too drown at the moment to give his response. After the chaos that they’ve been through, having this peace makes the two feel euphoric at the moment. A great break from all the madness of their own problems.“Thank you.” Irvin whispered for the nth time. He had been grateful at Henrick’s sweet gesture. It wasn’t that much for Henrick but for him it
“Woah! This is good!” Finn exclaimed after he took a bite on the roll. Pointing the small roll on his plate using the fork.“Glad you like it. Let’s buy some before we leave.”“What for?”Boone baffled at his question. “So that you can still have more at home? What else?” He is referring to Finn’s mansion.“No need. I don’t think I would enjoy it at home anyway.” There’s a hint of sadness in his tone.He stopped, taken aback. “What d’you mean?” Even before, when Finn had liked something on the food that they ordered he usually kept insisting on bringing some home. So that he could share it with his parents. He sighed. “Dad had left home.” There was more to it. But Finn still didn’t want to accept the whole situation of his parents getting a divorce after thirty years of being married. The Thompson had been known to the elite as an unconventional couple. Angie and Lawrence—Finn’s parents—had been childhood bestfriends. Angie, was the daughter of the legendary Film Director Aries Friedm
Boone’s POVFinn was still in his deep thoughts until we reached the main door of the café. I can’t blame him. I used to be good at hiding my secrets from him. But earlier it was different. I want to tell him why I keep on making my father happy, and do everything he requested. This is for his sake. At that time, I thought I was ready to tell him but just like that night, I let my coward self over power the situation.Just when I stepped out, I took out my phone from my back pocket. Few notifications popped out but one caught my attention. It was a text from Charity, one of the front desk clerks that work in the condo building that I lived in. One of the perks of living in the building was the fact that they update the homeowners if there’s a guest, regardless if it is on the guest list or not.‘Ms. Ivy Larson is looking for you.’ Her text. What?! How the fuck this girl know where I live? I’ve already given her my other number. She can obviously contact me. No need to stalk my address
Third Person's POV They were both waiting for the sun to set. Watching the red-orangey sky slowly turn dark with a cup of Oolong tea. Henrick had brought it from home a month ago out of curiosity. It was one of the brands that he often saw at his mom's stocks. Didn't expect that Irvin would like it too.Irvin sighed in exasperation. He had been calling Mr. Williams using Henrick's phone and yet the other line kept on ringing. He starts to feel worried. It was out of his character to disregard calls. His hand continued to stroke the back of Irvin. As the others endlessly stressed at the situation, Henrick tries his best to soothe him. "Do you want to visit him tomorrow?" He suggested. His three days vacation had ended too. Henrick already plans on going back to his place by tomorrow, hoping Irvin would follow him too.He furrowed his brows. Thinking deeply. "I need to." Irvin said. As if convincing himself. He had enjoyed his two days at the Villa. He thought the place would only remi
"What about Moe?" I asked, staring at him dead in the eye. "How would I know when you never told me anything?" I emphasized every word clearly as I stated my displeasure towards him. I tried to raise my head to look at him but the falling tears made my vision blurry. "You want to know? You really want to know, right?" Henrick stalked towards me like a predator to its prey as he stood in front of me. His eyes blazing in fury. "Tell me!!" I yelled equally loud. I tried to suppress my growing anxiousness. This version of Henrick is what I fear the most. The seething with madness version. I want him to speak up, to say it to my face no matter how much the truth hurts me. But I surrendered. I surrendered to Henrick. "I didn't tell you because I'm worried about your feelings, Vin. I don't know if you could bear it or not. I don't know if this will bring back the pain...But you won't listen to me even when I warned you. Now, I will tell you the truth. Moe is the guy who poisoned you at th
Irvin's POV"P-please... don't hurt us..."My eyes widened as I watched the scene in front of me. I gave Moe a glance, but he was too preoccupied with the terrified lady. "Auntie, we're not here to hurt you." I muttered, before lending my hands towards the old lady, beckoning her to get up. "Tri’s not here today. So, I came instead." Moe said. "Y-you're... not here to hurt us?" she said in a trembling voice. "Yes." Moe said with indifferent expression, before eventually softening his voice, "How are you?" "You promise?" "Yes... Tri asked me to buy this too," Moe took the pills out of his pocket and gave them to the auntie. The expression on the woman's face eventually mellowed as she started to trust Moe. "Why didn't Tri come today?" Auntie grabbed her own clothes and wiped tears off her face. "He's busy... Can we see him now?" Moe shortly said. The lady was speechless for a moment before letting out a deep sigh. She slowly opened the door to the room and eventually beckone
Irvin’s POVI sat with my phone while playing games like crazy after passing a rigorous exam all day, damn it! The questions on the test paper today were something I have never met before. Hey! Did we study a lesson like that? Damn, I couldn't remember anything. My brain has gone as empty as a space, it was filled with nothing. The more I searched for answers, the more I couldn't find them. I wanted to sleep instead! Fuck! What I got back was a radiant looking skin because I have slept all too well, it helps a lot with drinking eight glasses of water a day that adds moisture to my skin. How preposterous! "Done with your exams already?" Henrick’s voice didn't draw my attention away from the screen. I nodded at him and continued playing the game. For about ten minutes now, I have been sitting here under the VIP building benches and waiting for him. Henrick and his friends gathered around the table. He then sat beside me. "Ugh." I flicked my face away from Henrick, who gently rubbed h
Henrick’s Pov"Oh God... it hurts so much doctor." I squinted my eyes towards the old looking man sitting across from my good-for-nothing friend. He was called doctor Seb or Doc Sebastian Walsh? Something like that. When we asked Oli if he wanted to be taken to the hospital, he refused and wanted to be tended here instead. So we called a doctor, and this bastard specifically asked for this old man. I was putting an ice pack for Irvin’s hip while periodically peeking at my friend’s actions. He said he was hurt, but his face looked otherwise and it annoyed me seriously. "You're doing fine, Oli. It's just a little bruise. I'll give you some painkillers and topical ointment and you're good to go." The good-looking doctor said coldly. His tone might be soft and caring, but his facial expressions were too stiff and indifferent. "Don't I need an X-ray? Or maybe some blood tests? I think I'm still a little sick doctor." Oliver pushed himself up from the sofa, and drew his face closer to t
Henrick’s POVBang!!I hurriedly grabbed Irvin by the waist so that he slammed hard on my chest. We dropped to the couch in shock, looking at the shards of fallen glass on the floor. The glass table shattered and cracked loudly. I didn't realize I had used such a strong force enough to break the table apart. Luckily, I caught Irvin on time before he fell into the mess. "Are you okay?" I asked Irvin who sat on my lap and was staring breathlessly at the wreckage in front of us. "Damn, Rick! What the hell did you do?" He slapped my thigh hard with his fists. "Ha ha, look how strong my love for you is." I said, grinning goofily at Irvin’s reddened face out of embarrassment. Knock Knock"Young Master. What happened, Young Master Henrick?" There was a loud knock on the door, along with an uproar from outside. Irvin and I exchanged looks and he hurriedly put on his pants, rolled his shirt down, and ran towards the bathroom. I shook my head slightly as I recall his old ways. "Nothing."
Henrick’s POV"Let me go!" He pursed his lips tightly that prevented me from penetrating the insides of his mouth, but I don't care anymore. I sucked on his lower lip vigorously and kissed him repeatedly. His thin and soft lips felt so good against mine. His sweet breath made me delirious with so much need I think it's too late to stop myself anymore. My head spun from the raging lust. I alternately kissed his lips and cheeks nonstop to let him feel what I wanted to say. To let him know that I want him so much and I need him in my life or else I will die. "I thought I was going to die." I said honestly, still in full attention to the man in front of me who has his eyes tightly closed and flickering his head back and forth. His lips remained tightly closed that he began to suffocate and lose his oxygen, so he accidentally opened his mouth to get some air. And it was the moment I was waiting for, I lunged forward and claimed his mouth in full. My tongue darted inside his mouth, twirlin
Henrick’s POV"Damn it, what the fuck?! Are you still in the mood to watch porn in this situation?" Irvin asked in shock. "Shit!" "What?" Irvin and I looked at the screen showing a video clip between Moe and Ivy. They were both naked and making love passionately in bed. If it was Ivy with someone else, I wouldn't be surprised but what made me cursed out loud was because it was Moe, who's the least I expected to do this to me. Though I feel nothing about Ivy, seeing a clip of her like this made me feel a bit struck. I felt betrayed. It was true that who stabbed you from the back was always someone close to you. "Fuck! Moe is wicked." Irvin said as his eyes focused on the screen. "Didn't I tell you? Don't get close to him!" I said angrily, remembering how close Irvin was in danger with Moe. "How would I know? Open that one too." Irvin, who didn't seem to mind, urged me to open another file that Rancho was gradually sending. "Fuck! Stephanie too?" As soon as I opened the clip, I
Irvin’s POVI took a deep breath. Today was exhausting, not just physically but also mentally. Everything was so messed up, but I'm glad that the bond that I have with my brother is getting stronger. Zeke and Oliver took him to the hospital to get treated and I was left alone with Henrick. "Let's go home now, Vin." Henrick said, wrapping his hands over my neck and pulled me into a hug. "Whose house are you talking about? T-the fuck are you doing again Henrick! Let me go!" I struggled, pushing myself away from Henrick’s embrace. "Come on Vin. It's already over. Let's go home now." Henrick insisted, and pulled me towards his car. "Henrick, if you don't stop pulling my arm, I'll hit you!" I continued to resist, glaring at him in fury. "VIn, please. I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry. I was wrong." Henrick held my arm to face him, but I was too stubborn not to let him have his way. "I'm done with you! Go mess with somebody else!" I said as I turned my gaze away from him. Henrick sudde
Boone’s POV“So?” Stephanie leaned close to me and gave me a teasing smile. I looked at her with confusion and just shrugged her off. Her smile turned frowning when I disregarded her query. She bumped me with her shoulder that slightly pushed me over. “Isn’t he the guy that you’ve been talking about?”“Hmn.” My way of saying ‘yes’.“Oh my god. You’re acting shy right now.” She pointed out.My hands were fast to cover her lips. She was too loud. That even the guards at the main gate could hear her blabbering.“That’s nonsense.” I replied. Letting her go. “Can you tone down your voice? I don’t want him to feel uncomfortable.”Her lips puckered. She went silent for a few seconds. As if she’s thinking of something that I couldn’t decipher. SHe crossed her arms, lying back on her seats. Almost slouching. “You know what for someone who’s smart, you’re quite stupid and blind.”My jaw dropped at her utterance. If only she’s not someone I consider as a friend, I probably have said mean things
