44. Decision Making

Nadlyn entered her room with slow steps, as if each step was a heavy burden she had to bear. Her room, once full of laughter and happiness with Dario, was now a lonely room filled with unforgettable memories. Dario, someone who had always been there for her and protected her, had now left her.

It all happened so fast, it was hard to believe. Nadlyn was still brooding over the tragic event and her heart was filled with regret. She was the one who had invited Dario to join her in the search for his cover-up, and now she felt that she was the cause of Dario's death. Nadlyn felt guilty and devastated.
