What is Ember doing to try and survive? How is she going to save herself? What is she doing to figure out what is going on? How is getting answers? What is her plan? Other than go on whatever ride these men take her on

It feels like we are on a road to no where. And this Kade story just feels so forced and contrived. It is unnecessary unless she is going to end up with him in the end. She would be better served putting herself first and to stop looking to these men to make it better for her.

How does she hope to survive without her wolf? Is her far side just going to appear? This story is dragging without is getting any closer to anything. And how are the issues with her actual mate and old pack going to be resolved? This story has a lot of threads that are just unraveling.

And just that fast Ember recovered enough to dance and flirt? She is a hard character to like. She flip flops all over and is so wishy washy. Her character development has been poor. And her lack of concern over losing her wolf… Not sure if this is meant to highlight her hybrid nature.

Lycans are guests and should respect the fae's WY but the fae also should tell them what's happening, introduce them traditions properly not force them and snicker. The Queen wants to show how disrespectful and barbarian they are. She's not doing any effort.

It was a pretty speach made by the Queen but not very convincing. Not selling per sec but definitely to show her to available males. Otherwise they wouldn't have ouch her so hard and kept her on ignorance.
