Chapter Thirty seven

Darius's pov

I opened my eyes just to see what i have never seen jn my entire life, a lion was right in front of me.

I paused, behaving like someone who had died and the animal used his hand to scratch my body. For sure, he would be perceiving blood and want me for his next meal.

Immediately, i called on my wolf, Ruffus.

"Take over me now!" I said to him and without wasting time, he took over me.

I jolted up on four legs, facing the lion with a spiteful glance while going back, creating space for him to launch an attack.

The lion followed Ruffus as he was moving backwards. Ruffus started gritting his teeth and when they have gotten to a clearer space, ruffus turned around, making the loin confused and climbed on the body of the lion, biting him hard.

The lions started struggling with Ruffus on his back, trying to fling him off but Ruffus maintained his grip on him, biting every corner of his body.
