Chapter Ten

Anita's POV

My eyes blinked open. Where am I? I tried sitting up appropriately but my hands betrayed me. They were weak.

I managed to do so and sat up, scanning the whole place. Everywhere was damn dark. With nobody around or no one around.

My body was itching me. Soaked up with sand. I started cleaning it up, from my head down to my feet.

My mind quickly darted to what happened previously and I recalled every bit of it. Maybe I was in the playground.

I tried standing up but I was weak. At each standing posture I make, I fall back to the ground. I tried for what seemed like thirty minutes before I was able to regain my stamina.

My stomach started gurgling, churning and making a lot of noises. I was hungry but where can I get food?

I started using my hand as eyes to feel and touch every where I was going. As I moved out of the playground, I started seeing bit by bit.

The place started becoming clearer. I could see the gate before me and it was opened. I couldn't go back to the ce
