Leo's POV

As our journey continued, a turning point awaited us that would challenge our perceptions and test the boundaries of our compassion. The forest path stretched ahead, a tapestry of shadows and light that seemed to mirror the complexities of our own hearts.

One day, as we walked through a particularly dense part of the forest, the distant sound of voices reached our ears. Following the sound, we soon came upon a small campsite nestled beneath the shade of towering trees. There, we found a family in distress, a young boy named Caleb was battling a grave illness, and his parents, Samuel and Eliza, looked exhausted and defeated.

Amelia's eyes narrowed with concern as she assessed the situation, her empathy evident in every furrow of her brow. She turned to me, her voice a measured whisper. "Leo, I have a medical background. I might be able to help Caleb, to offer some guidance to his parents."
