I took him into the sitting room and once I was certain we were alone i turned to face him

“Babe?” I called to him as I knew what I was about to ask would be unorthodox but I needed his permission to do it as I could not do it alone

“Yes” He said with a smile almost like he knew me calling him Babe was emotional blackmail on my part

“We have a little problem with May” I said thinking of the proper way to say it, I know we were not the most safest of people to be around at the moment but I could see no other way around May’s unique situation, I could not trust her with just anyone

“Her mother is dead, isn’t she?” He said taking the words right out my mouth, he really was a clairvoyant

“She was in the house that was burnt down, I could feel it, as their true alpha I could look at the scene of attack and tell if a member Of my pack had died there”
