~~~ Jackson's Point of View ~~~
When we walked in, Alice said, "Hi," in a tiny voice.
Well, I guess, now let the night begin.
"Hey Alice, how are you feeling?" I asked first as I got closer to her and rubbed her hand,
"I am feeling better, thanks," she said as she turned her head to Cyrus,
"What happened?" she asked,
"Nothing, nothing happened. We're all okay," he assured her. She smiled and let it go start talking to her dad. Cyrus and I used to opportunity to get out of there and walk around.
"Don't look suspicious, Cyrus. You looked really doubtful in there," I told him honestly,
"What did you actually do? How would you just be playing around with a knife and just kill someo-" I
~~~ Jackson's Point of View ~~~"So you're telling us it wasn't him? What if he's doing some kind of trick on us? What if he's trying-" Alice cut me off before I could finish my thoughts,"He is not Jack. Just let this go," she said.Once we were alone, we talked about her uncle and she told us how he never had the intention of killing his own family. I don't know. There's something shady about this man, but if Alice wants me to drop it then I won't mention it to her. I will just talk to Cyrus about it. About Cyrus..."Why is Cyrus not here yet?" I asked directing it at Sally,"I don't know, should we check on him?" she asked as I stood up and walked out of the room without waiting for her. I walked down the hallway to where his mother is and there I found his dad sitting on a chair crying?
~~~ Jack's Point of View ~~~"Why are you talking about me like I am not here?" Cyrus said looking at us in confusion,"Hey, Cyrus, you lost your memories. We are going to try and help you get them back, okay?" I said trying to calm him down,"What's lost is your mind. Now can you please tell me what's going on?" he said,"If you haven't lost your memories, then tell me who your parents are, what your name is, where you are from," I said getting slightly mad,"Uh..." he processed but there was nothing,"That's what I am talking about," I said. I seriously don't know why I am mad,"Hey C, it's me, your father. That is Sally and Jack, your best friends," Mr. Issac tried to explain,"What's your name?" Cyrus asked him,"Marcus, Marcus Issac. Your father," he said,"Oh," that was it, no more questions. He just laid there, saying nothing but looking at the ceiling. Mr. Issac tried to ma
I woke up the next morning from the uncomfortable pain in my back. I realized I was still in the hospital sleeping on a chair in an uncomfortable way that made my back ache. I noticed Mr. Issac and Cyrus were still sleeping so I got up to check on Sally and Alice. I walked to the cafeteria first to get a coffee before making my way to Alice's room. When I got there, I noticed Sally was awake but not Alice. I walked in slowly and carefully and motioned Sally to get out in the hall. She did and as we took a walk I asked, "Did you wake up early?""I couldn't sleep. I slept for like 2 hours but I spent the rest of the time on my phone," she said,"Oh, I couldn't sleep either. Maybe we should go home and get some rest," I suggested. I was exhausted and the only thing I wanted to do was to just go home and lay on my bed even if I didn't fall asleep, which I highly doubt."Maybe you're right. I can't stay here, I hav
~~~ Jack’s Point of View ~~~“You ready?” I asked once we were all set and ready to drive back to the hospital,“Yup,” she replied with much more energy than before,
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ I am sleeping peacefully when the jerk barges in my room."Cyrus, are you awake?" he asks turning the lights on,"I am now," I say scowling,"Alright, you're getting out today. As I told you, you won't be fully free. Sure you can go to school and stuff, but you will still be working for us," he says it like it was no big deal,"There's no way I am working with the Silent Man," I reply,"Oh, you're not working with us. That's a big step. You are working for us," he says grinning,"Why would I work for a crime lord?" it's clear I would never do that,"Because you love your family and friends," he continues, "Now, this will be the phone you use with us. We will tell you where to meet us, the
~~~ Jackson's Point of View ~~~I didn't feel bad at the time but now I feel really bad for punching him. He hasn't been back yet. Not that I expected him to, but it still worries me. Also, since I promised Mr. Issac I would keep a close eye on him. When I punched him, I didn't expect him to be back by the first 30 minutes, but it's been hours and he's still not back yet."Should we report it?" I ask completely worried,"No. He needs time after you yelled at him and punched him," Sally snaps. I seriously don't understand her problem,"Do you still think it is my fault?" I ask,"I will always think it's your fault," she says without even bothering to glance at me,"You know I-" I get cut off,"I don't want to hear it, Jack," she puts a hand in my face to stop me."Can
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~(Quick recap) We get to another door after a while of walking. A more complicated door than the first one. He types a different code for this one as he gives me his phone and tells me to put both of them in the box. It is some kind of machine where you have to tap the screen for it to open. I drop the phone before he opens the door again.He opens it wider than the first one and- HOLY SHIT!When the door opens, it reveals about a hundred people sitting. Do all these people work for him?"Come on," Nathaniel motions for me to follow him, which I did."WHAT. THE...!" I yell attracting all attention to my side. Frankly, that's the least of my worries when I am sitting right behind dead people?"Weren't they-? How the hell-?" I could form a proper sentenc
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~"We need to expose the Silent Man," Christoffer says as my eyes widen in surprise,"What?" Nathaniel asks also not believing his ears,"Unless you guys want to work for him for the rest of your life," Christoffer says raising his eyebrows,"Um, how exactly are we going to do that? You know no one can take him down. He has people all over the town that can kill us in a snap," Nathaniel says looking at me in an 'I am not sure' way,"We are not going to reveal him now," Christoffer says in a 'duh' voice,"Then when?" I ask completely confused,"We need to go deeper. Find out who else works for him. What he does, what the best time to expose him is," that doesn't seem like a bad idea,"I mean, what if we get caught?" Nathaniel asks,
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ Some things in life are meant to happen and some are just meant to be small events but never continuous. Take my life for example. Things have happened, either for a reason or just events. Jack, Alice, and Sally are what is meant to happen. They are the people that I meant to be with. That I am meant to be friends with forever, but if we take Nate, Christoffer, and the others, they are just events. They are just meant to be a tiny part of my life just to fulfill it.Jack, Alice, and Sally are the ones that are an extensive part of my life. They are the ones that hold the most part/event of my life.When I became friends with Nate and the rest, I never suspected any kind of harm to me. When they told me they had a surprise for me for my birthday, I never anticipated any kind of harm. Neither did I expect Jack, Sally, and Alice to be there to save me. I don't know what would've happened to me by now if they weren't there to save me in time. I
~~~ Jack's Point of View ~~~ (Earlier the morning Cyrus got stabbed)"Come on, would it be that bad to just drop him off his present like we used to? Just because I don't talk to him, doesn't mean I hate him all of a sudden," I reply when Alice asks me if it was such a good idea to drop him off a present.Every year, on one of us' birthday, the other three drop off 3 presents at the door of the house and leave. It's the birthday person's part to figure out which present is from who. That's the fun part. Figuring out which one's from who. If he/she gets it right, they get another one big present from all three of us together."I guess not," Alice replies shrugging,"Okay, let's go before he gets out. He probably has plans," Sally says walking towards the front door,"Wait..." I stop them with my hand behind me and hide behind the wall,"What is it?" Sally says loudly,"Shhh. It's Cyrus's friends. They look like they are about to fight. Be quiet, let me listen," I whisper, putting
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ Nope. I am not waking up. I am not getting out of bed. Do you know what it means if I get out of bed? Do you know what it means if I leave this house? It means I break someone's heart. Jesus, save my day, please.I get out of bed groaning and slam the bathroom shut. I take a shower as slowly as I can, letting the hot water run down my skin. I brush my teeth leisurely before dragging myself out of the washroom and putting on deodorant. I take a look at my charming self in the mirror one last time before rushing downstairs to get something to eat. I snatch the milk cartoon out getting irritated when it didn't get out the first time I tried to pull it out. I pour some milk in my bowl before the cereal.Some people put the cereal first before the milk. I find it weird that people do that though. I don't know, maybe it's because I grew up
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ It has been two weeks since we started dating. Meaning half of our house arrest passed by like 4 minutes. We were never late in those 4 weeks. Well, there's this one time that Nate was fooling around in a bar and he got drunk. Don't ask me how he can drink, because he has a fake ID. It was 6 by the time we found out he was 25 minutes away from his house and drunk. I don't know how Chris found out, but he told me as soon as he did and we rushed to the place speeding past the limit. Now think of it, if we weren't speeding, we could've been late because of him. All three of us. A week would've been added to our house arrest because of one jerk fooling around and drinking when A). he's underage, and B). he's on house arrest. Thankfully, we got there in fifteen minutes and drove back faster than
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~I am putting on a shirt, just like last time, crowded by the jerks. They still can't get over the fact that I am going on a date with someone other than Alice. I can't believe it either. I mean it's not impossible but it is surprising. I promised myself that she was the only girl that I would ever love. Well, not that I love Kelsie but I am sure I will get there with her too."Dude, it's time. Get yo ass outta here," Nate pushes me off the bed,"Alright, alright. Relax," I say walking out.I had no idea where to take her so they told me to take her to the cliff where we swam last Sunday. I told them it wasn't a good idea but they said I can take her somewhere else if I had a better idea. This is, to be honest, my first time taking someone on a real date.Do
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ It's Sunday. Meaning, laying in bed all day, eating, and watching Netflix. I push the sheets down and get out of bed to go to the washroom. I get out a couple of minutes later to find the annoying jerks on my bed."No guys, I don't want to deal with you today. Today is Sunday. Meaning all day, alone, in bed," I say pushing them off my bed getting ready to get back in bed,"Very funny. Now get changed. We're going somewhere," he jokes,"Guys, this is no time to joke. Who even let you in?" I am pretty sure dad has already left by now,"We've been to your house a lot of times, do you think we don't know that you put your key under the rug?" Nate says,"Whatever. Get out of my room," I say pushing all of them out of the room,"Nope. Get cha
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~The week passed by in a snap. I feel like I've not even done a thing, but I ain't complaining. I am getting ready with the boys annoying me from the back. They somehow found out and decided to annoy me until I get out."Wow, can you guys believe it? He's going to get a kiss from someone other than one girl," Nate says as they chuckle in response,"You guys are no use. Why are you even here?" I roll my eyes putting on my shirt,"So we can give you some advice on somethings, like this," he says as he throws me a small plastic bag,"Take that away, Nate," I warn him as the others burst out laughing,"Just for protection, dude," Nate says laughing with the others,"He's right, man. After all, it's your first time," Chad says as once again the others die laughing,"Shut the hell up," I put my jacket on and get out pushing Nate out of the way.I get in my car and fill in her address on the map before driving out of there. I open the radio on my way there
Not going to lie, I thought today would be just fine. I told myself it would be a normal day, but how would it be?It was a disaster, to say the least. People would be staring at us and whisper to each other loudly enough for us to hear what they were saying.Some would say, "Aren't these the ones that were working for the Silent Man?"Or, "Oh my god, can you believe Christoffer Derrick is Alive?"We were so tired of the gossips. It was so childish. Now it's finally time to get away from these dorks and do community service. Another disaster, but I guess it's better than thousands of eyes being on you.We are driving to the beach to pick up garbage. For 3 hours."Is it fun for you yet?" Fate sarcastically says to Nate,"Whatever," Nate shuts him off.We walk around the beach picking up garbage. So boring.I guess it's better than jail...About two hours later
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~We're sitting at the court and...IT'S HELL!Everyone's arguing whether or not we have to go to jail. It was explained that we were forced into this but people still think we should go to jail?I turn around to see Jack and the rest sitting behind me. I don't say anything. I turn back around and look straight forward without paying any attention to anything. Until the whole court silences down.It's decided? We're going to jail? Oh my god. I can't finish my senior year with my friends?"Oh my god, I am so happy sweetheart," Nate's mom says as she engulfs him with a big hug and kisses.She is happy that he's going to jail?"Congrats, dude," Christoffer says as he comes my way to shake my hand,"For going to jail?" I ask in disbelief,
