"This one costs $16.00, trust me, your friend will like it," she bragged, folding the umbrella, "it's spring and as you know, it rains a lot. Just take it to him."

I sat in my wheelchair looking at the hundreds of umbrellas, and all I could pick was an expensive one. I needed to get it for Matt before we met again. Maybe, would pass by his house and leave it there.

"Alright, I'll pay for this," I took it and rang my coins left in my purse in her hand, "thank you." It was my last coin. I had spent all of my money, on food and unnecessary stuff like this umbrella. I even got myself a new phone, which I wanted to take back for my money. There was no use to be using an expensive phone and starving as an outcome. I should have thought better.

Reaching the main road, I made a move and stopped. I was afraid to step in. Cassandra has gone to school and mom didn't even know I was coming out.
