William's bitter tongue

“Why are you angry with me? What have I done?"

Monica asked, her eyes straying to William's irate expression, where she saw his tense jaws and his hands, where she could see his knuckles tightly clenched around the steering wheel.

Monica struck up a conversation with him twice, but each time he ignored her and continued driving as though getting to the destination was more essential than responding to her. Monica rolled her eyes and looked away from the road, contemplating,

“First of all, a major incident occurred today, and this man is behaving as though she is to blame for it all. The family is dangerous in addition to being haughty. They devised a scheme to hurt her in just two days, and she is powerless to predict what would happen next. She now knew why William had been saying again and over that her life was in jeopardy."

“Please don't bring up the morning incident in my workplace. I love working in quiet, therefore whatever task you are given, you will complete it wit
