Chapter 882

Edward looked at Darius. "Sir, weren't we supposed to head to the university? Why are we here? Has something bad happened?" He could hear a commotion inside the villa and looked grim.

Darius shook his head. "No. Bridget took a wrong turn." Edward nodded, then glanced at the villa hesitantly, wondering whether he should tell Darius about his suspicions. As he pondered this, Darius said calmly, "There's no need to be so hesitant. I can already hear what's going on inside." He sighed and put his hands behind his back. Though his expression hadn't changed much, Edward could tell he wasn't in the best of moods. He stepped back silently.

Bridget stepped forward but didn't dare say anything to Darius when she saw him seemingly deep in thought. Instead, she shot Edward a disapproving look and said, "Since you already noticed we were going the wrong way, why didn't you text us to let us know?"
