After composing himself, he nodded at Darius and replied, “My apologies, Mr. Reid. That’s my mistake. I’ll resolve the issue at once—I promise.”

He then straightened his back and shot a firm look at Darius, promising, “I’ll get to the bottom of this case within an hour.”

Darius shut his eyes just then.

Reaching an arm out, Uriah motioned the former to join him in the investigation. He later lowered his arm and strolled ahead, leading the way while turning his head several times to check up on Dariu
