The next day they tried to help his confused mate to find some kind of middle ground with her wolf.  It was difficult and he was livid when he realized that the Elders had not prepared her for any of it.  It was the Elders’ job to assist a new wolf with everything they would need to know to make the transition as smooth as possible.
