Hazel's Point Of View:

I heard faint voices coming from outside. I opened my eyes, feeling a panging pain all over my body.

I still couldn't comprehend that I was betrayed for the second time in my life.

It felt as if I was the only loyal person both on earth and in the werewolf realm. It felt really saddening to think that only the people I loved the most betrayed and neglected me and my feelings.

My sister, My parents, My mate, Alex!

Alex’s own hurt the most. I thought no one could hurt me like Zara, not even Damian could, but little did I know that Alex was the master at hurting people's feelings, especially mine.

I hated toxic men but I ignored my preferences for his sake. At least I learned a lesson to never trust toxic and powerful men anymore. Well I wouldn't trust them anymore if I was dead!
