CHAPTER 109: A visit to New house

Mrs. Tonia wipes the corner of her mouth with the dining table serviette, keeps it, and she stands up and walks out of the dining room.

"Where are you going, Anita?" She asks Anita as she walks to the living room to take a seat on their couch.

"I'm just going inside, mother," Anita responds, and Mrs. Tonia keeps silent for a while as she comfortably sits.

"We will be going out soon, so once we are done mopping and cleaning the new house, we will come back to rest. I already painted it during the week, as I hired a painter to do that."

"Okay, mom," Anita responds, and she hears her mother sigh.

"Who's the man Flora is asking you about?" Mrs. Tonia finally asks, as she's still sad that Anita told her the handsome man she saw the last time that dropped them home wasn't the one who made love to her. She's still angry about it, but keeps her cool.

"He's Alfred, mom. The one who dropped us home the other day," Anita finally responds, as she didn't want to speak about Alfred before.
