Chapter 71

Remus's POV

When I was done with what I came to do, I traveled back to my work base-home. Every minute without knowing what Sylvia was doing had me worried. I wanted to be with her every moment and time. She gave me a sense of security, a sense of knowing what to do which was all I needed at that point in my life.

''Hey baby.'' I said as soon as she picked up the call.

I needed to tell her I was coming home very soon. I knew she might be worried about me. In fact, it was in her to be worried especially when she hadn't heard from me in a long time.

''Hey love. It's still night here. Are you okay?'' she asked sleepily.

I had forgotten that we were now in different time zones and so calling had to be planned but I had completely forgotten about all that.

''Yes baby, I'm fine. I called to tell you that i would be coming home very soon.'' I smiled.

''Hurry. I miss you. It just seems like you've been gone for more than a week.'' she sighed.
