Chapter 53. Love and Pain

A month have already past. Maleficus and Ayah have worked hard on finding a better solution to the Queen's problem, looking after her health and the baby inside her womb. Nothing seems to be wrong, they are both healthy and well. But still, deep in my heart I worry that something will just come and take her away.

I woke up one morning to a beautiful weather with the sound of the birds chirping outside the big glass window of my room. I watch as the rays of the morning sun penetrates through the middle of the curtains, creating a wonderful view. I have missed this wonderful view of my room which reminded me of my childhood.

"Princess, good morning. Are you awake?"

A series of knocks on the door followed by a woman’s voice, coming from my personal help Kiera have brought me back into my senses.

"Yes Kiera, you can come in."
