Chapter Thirty-Two

Lucas drives me as far as he can to Sebastain’s lands, and I walk the rest of the way. I was glad, because running here the first time with the twins on my back had been a pain in the ass. He didn’t seem like he wanted to let me go, and it was sweet that he was so worried about me, but I had a purpose now.

And that purpose was to find out what the hell Sebastain was up to and why there were so many coincidences piling up around him. I wanted to know how he knew May, if he even knew her at all because all of this was just speculation at this point. Lucas knew she came to his pack, but that didn’t mean she was coming to see him for sure. There were lots of people in Sebastain’s pack, and she could’ve been seeing any of them.

I had been nervous as hell when I creeped back in the house just as the sun started to pierce the sky, the twins knocked out cold against my back. I was terrified Sebastain was going to be awake, waiting for me or in a furious rage at my absence.
