Chapter Thirty-Eight

“What the hell are you doing here?” I scoff at May. I hadn’t seen her since I had gotten kicked out of Killians pack, and I knew one thing for sure had changed since then: I wasn’t near as broken. I felt no need to pretend to be nice to her like I’d once had to do.

“I could ask you the same thing.” She says with a smirk, looking at the padlocked door. “ I guess you were the one who broke it in the first place, huh?” She asks with a raised brow. I feel myself panicking a little. How long had she been here? How much did she know? My first break in had been days ago, he hadn’t been here the entire time, had she?

“I really don’t understand why you’re here.” I say, eyeing May as she walks closer to me. I narrow my eyes in on her, watching her every move. I don’t like this woman. I hear my wolf say in my head.
